Its Thursday and Ill start the Thread today march 12,th 2009
We washed the cars and went to the grocery and id the normal things a girl does.
I am still sore from the laparoscopy. but it is only a week ago.
Now I am gearing down to have company on the 31st for a week then we go to North Carolina for a week.
Well talk on everyone.......
Carla
Well, ya beat me to it ... I was going to start the thread. I went online to check for my deposit, but damn, it's not there yet and my checking account is barer than bare, it's so depressing. Need to get a prescription refilled and then I think I'll go to bed.
The big hubbub at work today was a global e-mail from the boss (actually, his secretary). I got warned about it when I got to my desk and thought it was something really bad ... like cutting benefits or laying more people off (or more buyouts ... they promise no layoffs). But it wasn't that bad ... they want us to empty our own trash cans every night. Oh, well, I can do that, if it means I have a job and benefits and my coworkers have their jobs and benefits. I heard some snarking about it from our classical music writer ("I guess this is what it means to be a general assignment reporter") but man, I've worked at smaller papers where I did everything, from answering phones to taking classified ads to delivering missed papers to cleaning the photo darkroom. So emptying my trash can is nothing. I don't mind that at all. Just don't deny my home PT claim.
I am so cold tonight ... it's 22 degrees, so Carla, don't tell me you're cold in Florida. I had on a turtleneck, a corduroy jacket and a sweater at work and was still shivering. I'm shivering now, and think I should get under flannel sheets and comforter and warm up with the kitties.
I was going to watch the World Baseball Classic game with the U.S. vs. Venezuela but the U.S. lost, so I guess I'll go to bed, do my exercises and read for awhile before sleep. I'm kinda tired anyway. At least I'm not in a lot of pain tonight.
Have a good day. I'll check back later.

Well It's not quite Thursday out here in AZ yet, but, just got home from Wed nite Church. Always puts me in a better mood than went in. That is the good thing about
my church. Might have a job should here soon. Won't get rich, but it will be a steady job & pretty close to where I live. Thursday is usually appointments & more job hunting
till someone actaully say you are hired still keep at it!! Prayers for all of looking for work & all of you out there trying to keep the one you have. God Bless!!
Have a good day whatever comes your way!!

Last day of the workweek for the full time job. Took off for Thursday night to go see Eddie play ball. It is raining, but I am still taking off.
Eddie's coach sends out a story to the parents about each game, sort of like a newspaper story. Here is the lead paragraph this week (keep in mind, Eddie is Brad Trost):
Stampede Hook The Marlins
13 - 4
SPI (Stampede Press International) - Brad Trost went 3 for 3, with 4 RBI, with a triple and clean inside the park HR, and sharp Stampede pitching of Benjamin ******, Jaylen *********, Braylen *****, and Ricky ******* lead the Stampede to a 13-4, opening day victory over the SW Arlington Marlins.
Just when I thought I couldn't get prouder.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

It's colder this morning than yesterday. It's supposed to be getting warmer not colder.
I was told yesterday that they're considering me to replace another secretary who's going out on maternity leave. No big deal except for the fact that it's not in Indianapolis, it's in Cleveland. I would have to travel to Cleveland a couple days a week. I'm excited at the prospect, but Brenda isn't happy with the idea. Well actually, unhappy is putting it mildly. They haven't even approached my boss yet, so I'm not getting too worried about it yet. It's just in the talking stage.
My back is hurting alittle today. I need to make an appointment with the chiropractor. I haven't been in months, since the one I was seeing abondoned the practice. I need to get back to it since I had to pay in advance for three months. It's been pretty nice not having the pain I had gotten used to. It's amazing what a spinal injection will do.
Well, I better get busy. My boss is coming to town tomorrow so I have several things to get ready for him. Have a great day.

george--wow!
not much else to talk about...
hugs and prayers
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

The time change messes with me for at least a week. Wish they'd pick a time and just leave it the heck alone!
I have a co-worker who is loud....loud and trashy to boot. Thankfully, she only works part time so I don't have to put up with it too much. After we've worked together I drive home without the radio on just to have some peace and quiet.
See ya!
