I am back after being AWOL for quite a while.  I have had a very slippery slope and gained a couple of pounds but am back to work on the treadmill, drinking water and trying to do better with the food.

I missed you guys.

I can say that I will really really try not to go "into hiding" again and I will also really really try to stick to the "program"

Thanks for caring.

Jeane,

When the slope gets too slippery, reach out and we will hang on REAL tightly. Don't be embarrassed, this is a tough thing to do.

Welcome back.

Thanks, Annette:

I really thought after getting the band it would be easier.  And if I would listen to the "signals' from the band it would be, but the compulsive overeater in me has been winning.

All I can do is keep on trying.

jeane...i am sooooooooooooooooo glad to see you post--i was actually afraid that something had happened at your house!!!!

we all have accidents in life...just stand up and dust yourself off!!! and don't stay away.....you were missed, too!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Don't stay away if you slip. We are here for you. This is a lifelong struggle for all of us. Even when you reach goal, you still struggle (don't I know it!). The more you come here for support, the better off you'll be. It's like that old Girl Scout song, "The more we get together, the happier we are." Or something like that ... memory fails me.

I guess I am finally getting it that even with bariatric surgery, it will always be a life long struggle.
