Anyone here take Lyrica?

Hello Friends,
I was recently prescribed the drug Lyrica ( 75 mg) for a
medical disorder.  Has anyone here taken this drug and
noticed any side effects? I would appreciate any input.

Yes Tootsie, I take Lyrica (100 mg) 3 x daily.  It has been a wonderful drug for my fibromygia.  I don't think I could get around without it.  I have not noticed any side effects with this medication. I have taken this medication for about a year now.  I hope that I have helped in some small way.

Thank you Pat for responding. Maybe it isn't the Lyrica itself but
in combination with a host of other meds I am on. I have noticed
an emormous swelling in my body. This has caused the scale to jump
5 pounds in one week!  I agree that the Lyrica has made a great difference
and I do not want to be taken off of it. :-) 

It gave me seizures and made me swell awfully.

I also have fibro and tried Lyrica and could not tolerate it. I am back on gabapentin (neurotin) which makes me whacky and woozie but not as bad as the Lyrica did. Those that can tolerate Lyrica seem very pleased with it. Best wishes!
