The bathing suit arrived ...

OMGo**** is pretty obvious that I haven't bought (or worn) a bathing suit in 34 years ... rofl       I put that crazy thing on and the girls were mostly hanging out along with most of my lower parts ... YIKES!!!   Not a pretty sight!!!    So back it goes!!!  Unfortunately I need tall/long torso and have to catalog order.  JCPenney does have some talls (hopefully with better coverage).     Chalk it up to another new experience!

Several years ago I googled 'swimsuits' and found a company in FL that had more swimsuits than one can possibly imagine.  I found the perfect suit that covered everything.  They were very good to work with.  Now if I could just remember the name.

I wear a two piece with the longer top (goes to my waist). No bare tummy showing for me!!!

I used to sell bathing suits in my beach store, and I think that the bathing suit that you're thinking of is the tankini.  The bottom is the regular size of a two piece - I don't mean anything like a thong  (_l_)    LOL - just sort of like bikini underwear, and the top is long enough to come down to cover the top of the bottom part.  Is that it?

That's what I was thinking I'd like to get for this summer is a tankini.  Now if I can get the nerve to go try on suits.  haha

I understand perfectly! My girls misbehave too.

Try going in to Land's End website - they have long torso suits - tell you how to measure, etc. I bought a beautiful suit in the correct dimensions. I always thought I was short through the torso, but I'm not - no wonder the suits always rode up!

Do try Land's End - they have lots of great stuff in suits.
