What we are eatingand what's eating us Tuesday!
Hello there my dear Linda. I hope that today is good for you. Much better than yesterday. It has been a couple of days since I posted on here. It has been so hectic and I am so tired. I sit when I get home and just want to either read my book or stare at the wall. I think that reading a book is a much better choice. So that is what I have been doing but I must admit one thing, there is times that the wall is my focal point!
B: sf oatmeal with 1/4 cup sunflower kernels
L: 1/2 a pb & j sandwich
D: pork chop with steamed veggies
S: nothing today I think
So far so good with the food but I have been thinking of the 5 day pouch test. I might do that. I know that you shouldn't do it in the first year but I think it would be alright now. I am 17 months out now. I think that might be the jump start that I am in need of. I am working on the mental part of it too. That is the hardest part. I just need to state my view and stick to it. I should not keep changing from one thing to another. When I say I am not going to do something and then turn around and do it that is wrong. For everyone. After a time of doing that my voice stating what I am doing and not doing is just that~a voice and no one will listen and believe me when I say something.

We had our mama dog, Patch, spayed yesterday, and I picked her up today. She did NOT want to get in the car to come home. A big struggle ensued. I'm assigning my husband to take her back to get her stitches out in 2 weeks.
I have a meeting of my writer's group tonight. Everyone always brings sugary, fattening goodies to eat (sometimes it seems like the meeting is an excuse to eat!), so I am bringing cookies made with peanut butter, Splenda, and protein powder.
B: banana peanut butter protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: pork chop, green beans
S: olive cheese spread on Ak Mak crackers
D: shrimp & white bean salad
S: peanut butter cookie

Linda, sorry you had a bad day yesterday. Me too. Must have been the moon and stars out of allignment! During the night Sun. a blood vessel burst in my eye. I woke with a headache - went to work anyway. Once here, I started with a tingly sensation on the right side of my face. Coworkers INSISTED I get to the doctor. Blood pressure still low, and now pulse is also extremely low, like 42. The doc said it should be around 60. He wants me to see a cardiologist ASAP. He was not at all concerned about my eye. I was in the office almost 3 hours for him to check and recheck and recheck my pulse and bp. We'll see.
To answer your question from the other day - I am not officially on maintainance, but my body seems to want to be. Holding steady on the weight with a couple lbs up and down. I want to lose more.
