it was 63* here today (friday) but overcast much of the day- hoping it's nice tomorrow to go bike riding!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Weekend? Ha!
I have a LONG day at the salon;. three shampoo blow dries, a perm, one color/highlight/cut and one color/mani. Then, tonight Gary has a photo shoot at a 50th wedding anniversary to do but I'll be too tired to help him, so home I come for some food and jammies. While I hang out I'll label some Bella jars and bottles in preparation for the Big Push tomorrow; a marathon of salts, scrubs, lotions and potions. We have the two final scents and their labels done so the line will be mostly complete. FINALLY!!!!!!!
Tess gave me the numbers from her store on Bella for February. We sold $750 in product there and so far this month we've sold $300! I think we're on our way.
Oh yeah, can't forget the laundry, cleaning, cooking and grocery shopping that will be happening in the midst of all the rest of that! Whew! Think I'll go back to bed!

Got to tell you, Susan, I was talking to my stylist about your Bella company and she was interested. I have her e-mail because I wasn't sure where you were selling it. If you want, PM me and I'll send you her e-mail and you can contact her. She works for a Regis salon, so maybe you can get your foot in the door. She's actually a "master stylist" and manager there.
It's Saturday Morn, Just woke up and it's only 5:40 in the morning. Had only about
5 hrs sleep. Which seems to be about average for me lately. Had fight with Roommate/
Boyfriend last night. (his too much drinking) & was up late, too.
Had leg cramps last night have not had them for awhile. So don't know what's up with
that. I know was out of vit's for a few days & maybe taking them yesterday I took too
m,uch all at once.
Will walk today sometime, but don't have many plans instore. Weather did cool off some, but still pretty nice out in this AZ Town.
Headed for the coffee, now. Even woke up before it was done.
That is sad!!

I slept in until 7 a.m. but was awake on and off since about 3:30.....duh!
Have baked beans in the slow cooker to take down to church for a funeral dinner at noon.
Need to finish cleaning - have both bathrooms and bedrooms yet to do. Don't like to run the sweeper until I'm sure my neighbor is awake...
It's in the mid 40's here this morning and rained earlier....they are forecasting rain for the entire weekend. No sun here today.....we have had six continuous days of sunshine tho' so can't complain about that.
No real plans for the weekend other than church and Bible Study tomorrow morning. DS and DIL are going to Detroit for a locksmith trade show. Fluffy has spring fever and goes around to all the doors and windows meowing to go out -- NO WAY, JOSE!
Best get on with my day -- hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.

The last couple of days have been spent talking to my co-workers who, like me, became unemployed on Tuesday and having Tony take a day off to come and hang with me and Dillinger, being taxi service to another friend and getting all my ducks in a row for what could prove to be a long period of personal productivity.
This morning I am going to get my hair styled and then head up to Langhorne, PA, where I volunteer as a WLS group leader the first Saturday of every month. After that I'll come home to see how Dillinger is doing, which ,I happy to say, is very much like my good old dog these days! Then this evening at 7:30 I will attend my women's AA meeting.
The weather is beautiful and spring is in the air and I am feeling good, hope you all are enjoying your day!

This is an odds n' ends day. We have gone out for coffee, stopped at Wal-mart for litter, a stop at the car wash, and it is only 10 AM. Tom is shampooing the car carpets. Last week my coffee spilled on the car floor and the hazelnut creamer smells disgusting.
During our shopping with M&M, I let them to buy stickers. My daughter hates stickers because they end up all over the house. Too bad, grandma happens to like stickers. All through dinner the two grands sat and plastered each other and us with stickers. It was the perfect distraction for a restaurant. After they went to sleep I sat and UN-stuck their clothes. When Tom and I were having coffee this morning, he asked if I was going to keep wearing stickers. One stayed on my hand through the kid's bath time, all night and through my shower too. Those were great stickers.

Aloha and good morning OFF family!
Well, it's 7:00 a.m. and a gray morning here. At least the winds have died down, and now just gentle trade winds. I hate the high winds...they rattle the windows and make me nervous. The ocean is smooth at last, and I can see a mama whale sticking her head out in the middle of the bay. I think she has a baby with her, and hopefully will be teaching him/her to breach later on. That is such a comic show when they do that....the baby trying to imitate mama and just looking cute and silly flipping and flopping and making a little splash. Then the mama does a breach and makes a GIGANTIC splash that can be heard for miles.
Last night we tried to have our "girls' night at the movies" with everyone bringing pupus and watching "Hawaii" the movie most of us hadn't seen for years. Unfortunately the disc was garbled and we couldn'****ch it! My friend is going to reorder on Netflix and we'll just have to do it all over again. We had great pupus though.....shrimp with red sauce, a dynamite salad with chicken/fresh veggies, healthy cookies, veggies & dip, and spinach/egg squares...yum.
Today I was hoping to get some lanai time in the sun, but it looks like the sun is going to stay behind the clouds, so I guess I'll go shopping instead. I have to hit the thrift stores.......my budget is getting very slim/trim ... just like me!! I'm having to learn creative ways to stretch the dollars these days. I'm considering doing a reverse mortgage on my little condo. Anyone familiar with those?
My weight is up this morning to 160. That's good actually, and I think I know why. I've gotten hooked on Safeway's bagel squares and have one every day. They had them on sale yesterday and I bought two dozen...froze them. They are my current "fix." I have to be careful because I'm "skinny" I can try these formerly forbidden things, and that could lead to trouble. I needed to confess that so that you all can give me a swift kick in the "buh-tocks" if I get too far off track.
