Did anyone notice? It's TGIF!!! - What's New????
Good morning all. Sitting here done with my work, so figured I would get this started.
Had a scare Thursday morning. Came home from work and my vinyl fence had 3 slats laying outside the yard, due to the high winds. Went in the house and the two greyhounds were gone. I am so glad they are not normal greyhounds. They say if you let a greyhound loose outside the house or yard, with no boundaries, they are gone. I was scared. Got in the car to go scout the neighborhood. Backed out the driveway and up the side street (I have the corner lot) and here they come. I stopped the car in the middle of the street and get out and call them. Both of them came right to me. Shuffled them in through the fence. Got them in the house. Moved my car, repaired the fence. Whew.
It was funny to watch them come towards me. The older one (Flyte) is scared of cars. So they were not coming down the street in the street, but rather across the middle of the yards from down the block.
Saw my granddaughter's school program last night. The things we go through. But I did get to hold Jaret most of the program. Four months old now. Getting big. And they started him on cereal yesterday.
Tonight I have the Pancake Supper at church and get to hear True North sing. I know it is going to be wonderful.
I did work out at the gym yesterday and will do so again today, tomorrow and Sunday. I really am trying.

I had my 1 year Dr. visit yesterday. All my labs were great. Yea ! I still have to stay on the vitamin D because it helped improve my labs from the last time. I'm glad it's working. The only other thing they told me was to drink more water. It's been so cold lately it's hard to drink cold water and not freeze.
But if I have to I will wrap up in a blanket to drink it.
I made a 1 year out photo today. Now I got to get it cropped to use as my new avatar.
It doesn't seem like a year has passed. It just flew by. This journey has been a true experience. I've learned alot from everyone here on OH. Thanks to everyone.

Congrats on the 1 year check up going so well!
Today is my 55th Birthday! I had some goals set which I have met (yay). I went out to lunch with son, Dad & oldest sister yesterday. They were all amazed at how skinny I am! My Dad is so proud of me and that means a lot. I wore a sherbert orange T-shirt with a funky-chunky multi-colored bead necklace ... I love color now! I always avoided color in the past!! haha I need to hit the lotto so I can go shopping!

I understand what you are saying about color. I always wore dark colored shirts. Now, everyone tells me how good I look in green. So, every time I see a green shirt on clearance, I pick it up. And honestly, every time, someone else tells me how good I look in that color.
