Oatmeal - cottage cheese pancakes.  I think I remember basic recipe as 1/3 cup oatmeal processed into flour in the Magic Bullet, 1/3 cup cottage cheese, 1 egg, and maybe 1 - 2 tbsp. milk whirled in the MB, cinnamon or flavoring to taste.  Cook as you would a regular pancake.

One of our young docs and I were talking about our Magic Bullets and I mentioned the oatmeal pancake.  He's extremely overweight and would like the recipe.  I don't have it here at work with me.

Please help, Debbie

Hi Deb,

Here's mine from Recipezaar.com:

1/2 c oatmeal
1/2 c cottage cheese
1 tsp vanilla
4 egg whites.

You know the rest!

Hope this is the one you were looking for

Susan

Thanks Susan, that sounds a lot healthier than the one I made with a whole egg.  I'm going to try it this weekend.

Here's a really easy recipe for the cottage cheese/oatmeal pancakes:

1 pkg wt control INSTANT oatmeal, any flavor
2 eggs (I use 1/2 cup egg beaters)
1/2 cup cottage cheese (low fat or fat free)

Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
Bake on a griddle sprayed with pam spray.

Makes four nice sized pancakes.

I just loves these with s/f jelly or s/f syrup.
