I had the interview.........

I think the interview went very well. I felt comfortable with the woman and that helped a lot.

She asked me some questions and I felt good about the answers that I gave. I talked from my heart and the words just came. I said a heavy duty prayer just before she came to get me and at the end I asked for His will to be done. I added that if it is His will I get this job it is great and if it is not His will to please give me the acceptance to get through it. I guess that covered about all of it. I wanted to make sure I covered every area.

She had one more interview to do today and then she said that she would make her decision either today or tomorrow and would let everyone know. She said that it is the only right thing to do. I like that part of her too. We seemed to click and talked very easy so that might help.........or at least I sure hope so.

I sure would appreciate any more prayers and good thoughts that you can say until I find out what is in my future. Jeez.......I sure hope it is this job. I may have said a heavy duty prayer but I still want the dang job really bad. Can't blame a girl for planning in advance!

Ah Dear Brenda....I hope that you get this position.  You sound like a person that would be very good with the elderly.  One of my nieces is Asst. Activities Director at our local Nursing Home/Assisted Living Facility.  My mother was at this home for almost 4 1/2 years so I am very familiar with what they do in their activities dept and it is wonderful and I agree with you that these residents are absolutely delightful and it is a job that I wouldn't mind doing myself.  So, Dear Brenda, I will keep my fingers (And toes and eyes) crossed for you that you get word that the job is yours.

I sure hope you get this job my prayers are with you. I worked in a nursing home for awhile and it was very rewarding, also did part time with Home instead Corp. you visit the elderly and help with cleaning meals etc. Good Luck to you. Hugs Gail

Brenda I didn't realize you had an interview since you are no longer on the Indiana Board. Hey what kind of job were you interviewing for? I assume from the other posts here that it has something to do with a nursing or assisted living home somewhere close to you. I will say some prayers that you get the job.
