It is so traumatic to lose a job, there are so many things tied to it not the least of which is the income.  I have lost several jobs in the past 10 years and it is always difficult.  I'm so sorry for you. I hope you can keep that positive attitude as it will go a long way in helping you find new employment. So much going on in your life right now with your dog and now this. Stay strong. Things will get better.

Oh Laureen- that is just shocking! I'm so sorry. When it rains it pours. This economic downturn i****ting so many people. I have never seen so many lay-offs. I can't even remember ever knowing anyone that was laid off but now I know several. Sending you lots of hopeful hugs.

I sure am sorry to hear you are having to go through all of this... I have had such a roller coaster life myself that I know that all the platitudes in the world don't make you feel any better... but I do know one that rings true.... God has a plan, and do the best you can to hang on to your faith that you are on the path he has chosen... I know, I had trouble believing it too... I sent out over 80 resumes, and didn't hear a single word.... until I got a call from the company I am working for now... in less than a week I was interviewed, hired, and started.... and I am very happy with this company and the job.

I will pray for you... and will wait to hear the news that you are hired on with a better company at a higher pay rate!

Sorry to hear that news Laureen.  This economy is not very pretty right now.

On the Texas Message Board, I am the NIGHT WATCHMAN.  I keep a prayer list going for the board members.  The job situation has gotten so bad here that I started a separate section listing those that are looking for employment.

Prayers for you.  I know dealing with this, on top of Dillinger is tough.  Hang in there.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hey George
You seem to be ther prayer warrior around here. I am still getting used to everyone.
Please add me to the prayer chain of yours. I do believe that if it was not for my Church
& God's work, I would have lost it a long time ago. Still looking for work since October.
Thanks for all you do!!
