Good morning Linda and to everyone else.  It's cold here in Pennsylvania with snow on the ground and howling wind.

I was just reading on the Main Board about someone being sorry they had WLS due to saggy skin.  Is anyone here sorry they had the surgery because of this?  I'm mainly looking into having the WLS for health reasons, although looking good would be an extra perk.  Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have a Terrific Tuesday everyone!

Debbie

Debbie,

There is no way to predict if or how much your skin will sag. A few of the people here have had plastics and seem happy with the results. My wrinkles are here to stay because they don't bother me.

The health imporvements far outweigh a bit of skin for me. At 61 years old, I am supposed to have wrinkles.

Kisses

Hi Debbie,I wil be 58 in a few weeks, the wrinkles do not bother me. I can get some free plastics, but have no plans to.
The younger crew may feel differently. I think wishing you did not have WS due to sagging skin,is extreme,I would wonder what expectations the person had, maybe they were unrealistic.
Nice meeting you...smile.

Stay strong,it bothers me that anyone could blame your daughter, and I hope it is not the professonals.
Big Hug!

The counselor told Carrie this morning if they have to take Kyleigh to court over this, Carrie will be blamed for not being able to handle her child and get her to school. The courts don't take this lightly.Carrie does everything everyone has asked of her and more. The lady also told Carrie she can be fined $100 and could do 90 days in jail because of Kyleigh missing so much school.Carrie is barely 5'3" and 130 pounds. Kyleigh is 5' 10" and about 200 pounds. How can Carrie drag her out of bed??Now there is a social worker coming into the picture. Who knows what will be happening now!!

I am just beside myself!!!

(((HUGS)))  Boo....to you!

Kayleigh has no idea what a Pandora's box she is about to open. I hate them too, social workers
Olivia got a call today from the police, telling her if the kids missed another school day, that she would be charged with a misdeminor(sp),and fined.
They have had the damn flu,the offiicer told her to bring them school and lt the nurse send them home, small wonder the kids keep getting re-infected!
Bottom line, she has to have a doctors note,or send them to school sick, with congested chests.
I know Kayleigh does not want to end up in the system, they do NO good.
How dare they blame Carrie! @$%6&7*I!

Linda....Carrie has heard the same thing. If Kyleigh is sick she has to go to school anyway. The nurse needs to see her throw up!!! If Kyleigh is seriously ill she too has to have a doctors note proving it.
I can see where this is going and I am not happy!!

Kyleigh really isn't going to like this...not one bit!!

I am down here at Carrie's now. Carrie called me at 9:00AM. She just found out one of her dearest friends passed away. It was unexpected...what a shock. Carrie is just overcome with grief. The poor kid. She doesn't need this thats for sure.

I will just keep on hanging on....I have to!!

Hugs....Boo....to you!
