What's New Thursday?
I haven't started out the day for awhile, but I was checking to see if my payroll deposit was in (it's not) so I thought I'd check the board and start us off.
It was a bit of a pain at work tonight. Our business department hasn't gotten with the new world order: we don't have as much space, they keep sending us stories like we had the same amount as before. I had the pages done and then found another story. I kept muttering: "I can't get five stories and stocks and biz names in this amount of space." I called my boss and waited for him to call me back to see what he wanted me to do ... then I just went ahead and did what I wanted to do anyway. By the time he called back, I was well into my plan, which he endorsed. And the funny thing was, the biz editor tried to shove another story into the plan (which my boss had put somewhere else) ... they have no concept of how little space we have now!
The good news today is I only have PT two days a week now ... therapist canceled Friday and only scheduled two days for next week. But then he gave me more home exercises to do. I need to do them before bed ... I'm so pooped now, don't feel like doing much, but I guess I should do a few before going to sleep.
Well, have a good day, I'll check back in later. Busy day, payday and all ... have shopping to do, bills to pay, etc.
today, my gramma turns 91 !
yesterday, i felt like dog doo all day at work...it's got to be my iron thing.... could have easily laid down for a nap; mild palpitations then about 2pm started feeling much better and no clue what was different!!!!
nothing else really new...just popped in to say hi..............
sending hugs and prayers--special ones for connie and laureen......
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

It is a balmy 30 degrees here today. That is practically a heat wave.
I am feeling more human today and hope it continues after eating...we shall see. Must have had a 24 hour bug.
A busy day ahead and Tom added to the busyness. Some how he pocketed the keys to the car we test drove. The dealership is on the OTHER side of the lake. That drive was not on my agenda. Guess it is now if I want to get the car on Saturday.
Have to RUN - the coffee is not sitting well. YUCKIES
Don't know what's up, but three nites in a row now I have had to take tylenol PM to get to sleep and usually after I take it, it's at least an hour or more before I actually fall sleep.....makes for really short nites. I did sleep until almost 7:30 this morning, but feel tired yet.
Need to do some shopping this morning, then have two appts at the beauty shop -- eyebrow wax and hair cut.
Have a load of towels in the washer.
Today will be a let down after all the joy and excitement yesterday....at least it's going to be warmer (was in the 40's here yesterday and sunny) but they are predicting snow by the weekend.
Have a blessed day all my special friends and prayers for those in need,
Hugs,
Pat R.

Done! Your Ticker:
Good Morning Everyone!
I'm missing Maui Karen. Has anyone heard from her in the past week or so?
Today is tax day. I'd been working on ours for a couple of weeks but got so confused about the house sale and house building, what we can and cannot deduct I finally just threw my hands in the air and admitted that I CANNOT do the taxes this year. I HATE admitting defeat but it got me this year. I'm sure we'll get more back having someone do them that knows about all of these things.
Exciting day yesterday. I spent hours trying to figure out what kind of gutter drain extensions to get. Bought a kind that really looked neat until I got home and thoroughly read the directions. If you live in an area where it freezes you need to remove them. Duh, winter is when I need them. This year we had a lot of snow and when it melted it melted quickly causing too much water too quickly on the ground right next to the foundation. These were neat little extend and then automatic roll up ones. But. . . . I need ones that I can leave on until spring. Once April gets here we will just have a couple of light rains between then and fall. Leaning towards the flexible recoil tubes. They are pretty pricey like over $30.00 each. I'll keep searching. I need about 4.
My older brother and his significant other are coming over on Saturday. I look forward to seeing them. My brother is 12 years older than I am so we weren't close. I barely remember him living at home. I'm closer in age to his children. But, we've become closer and it will be nice to have him here. We plan to go through my mom's pictures with my other brother before we turn the rest of the photos over to the grandkids the end of May.
Nothing else going on. Still dark, windy, dreary and not much above freezing. Oh, here's my big excitement. I see that we start daylight savings time on March 8th! It can't come too soon for me. I love the longer daylight in the afternoon. I'm always up before it gets light anyway.
You all have a great day.
