OT: Cell Phone GPS vs Regular portable GPS

I have the Mio Move 300. I got it at radio shack for 100.00 for my daughter. I got her the same one.

My son just set up his GPS for me to use tomorrow when I'm bumming around Nashville.  I can't believe how many things it does,and how easy it is to set up.  He has the same one as I have, and I wouldn never have figured it out alone.

I often wonder how much I underuse these technology things.  He makes it look so easy to do so many things on it.

I know how easy it seems when someone else is doing it or showing me. . . then when I'm on my own I go brain dead! I need idiot proof and I'm not sure there is such a thing. I still have a hard time checking messages and fielding more than one call on my cell phone!

A person can field more than one call at a time on a cell phone?  Who knew?????

I didn't say I could! I usually ignore the beep because most of the time when I try to tell the beeper I'll call them back I lose who I was talking to in the first place. I still prefer to have my cell phone safely on the counter at home and me far from it! I miss you Candy. . .
