It's MONDAY - What's new with you?
It was a great weekend for me. We are now 19 days until pitchers and catchers report.
Saturday we went to the Texas Rangers Fanfest. It was cold out there. 34 degrees. We bought a few hats at $1 each. Two Texas Rangers Volunteer caps and one 1998 Western Division Champion. Found some cookie tins. About 7" deep and maybe 12" or 13" across. $2 each. A few other little things. We just mainly walked around. When we got there, the line went more than halfway around the Ballpark. They were all there to get Josh Hamilton's autograph. So we passed on that. I will get him during the season. He always signs for kids. I will use my grandson for that.
Sunday we went to Sunday School and Church. Then we went to the World Market to see what they have. Some neat stuf***** a bottle of Sugarfree Vanilla Syrup for $5.99. Also some Veggie Chips and a few other things.
Hope you all have a good day. Will check with you all later.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
my son called at about 10 yesterday am and invited us to lunch in sandusky and i declined cuz i thought we were going out here and including lunch...then michael let me know he was sick...
-michael laid on the couch and the bed- he has the flu i think and i wanna stay away to not get it but near to help...he's running a slight fever and is achy and diarrhea etc...sorry if TMI this early in the am......he did absolutely nothing yesterady at all but move between the couch and the bed and the bathroom -and this morning he was on the couch again when i got up .....so.......he is drinking water but not sure that's enough!
i spent the day doing genealogy-finding some very very interesting ppl in the background of my being!!! ppl i would never ever have even learned about had it not been for doing this research!!!! founding fathers and governors and such....and learning more about the ships bringing those folk from England and Holland etc!
well; today i will drive myself to work and pick up the mail; he isn't even going to PT. i would imagine things will be very quiet around here all day.....
oh-it's 8*
sending hugs and prayers...........
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

My computer was too slow this weekend. Posting was difficult. Tom promised to check it out today.
I forgot to take my Actonel yesterday. It is never a problem to take the daily supplements but I always forget that once a week med.
Not much else happening. Have a great Monday.
Kisses

Happy Monday, George, and Everyone,
Nothing much happening around here for me these days. Very quiet now that hubby is feeling better. Doing my level best to keep him out of crowds and such so to the market and home again is about it for our weekend. Our little grandson has a stuffy nose so we didn't even risk seeing him.
Back to work today for anothe week of fun and frolic. They said rain today but so far none. It's still dark so I can't even see the sky to determine what might be coming for the day. Whatever....
Hope you all have a great Monday and stay warm. Determined to control food and carbs and such this week now that my time is back to being my own so to speak.... It would be nice to see some loss on the scales so I remember what that might be like.

Just a quick check in. It is COLD. 8 degrees. I am very done with winter.
Not too much new and exciting. Went to see Benjamen Button. Was good.
Had nice time with my husband. Did some house keeping and napping.
Back to the treadmill and work today.
I am wearing my sweater tights today.
Take Care all,
Cheryl

I haven't been on here since Friday. I had a somewhat busy week end but kind of not one. Can you follow my crazy mind? If you can you are doing better than I do.......I can't always follow myself. That is sad!
Saturday I had a meeting very early in the morning. I had to be there to meet friends at 7:30. It lasted longer than I thought and I didn't get home until going on 4 in the afternoon. I was tired. Then Bill's cousin called wondering about going out for dinner and so off I went again. By the time I got back my back hurt so bad I wanted to scream and my head wasn't far behind. I went to bed early. Yes.......another night that I didn't get to see the end of 48 hours mystery. I hate that. I get so close to the end and then bam I am asleep. I must wait until reruns I guess. I was so cold Saturday night that I couldn't get warm no matter what I did. I was buried under blankets, comforters and the heat was set on 85. Bill complained that it was hot in here and I told him to turn the heat down that I would be alright but he said no he was alright. Finally on Sunday morning I was warming up. Never had a night that bad. I hope that I never do again. There is cold but then there is bone chilling cold. Chilling isn't even a good word. Bone freezing is better.
Sunday I stayed home from church. I wasn't feeling good enough to go. I am not sorry I stayed home either. I stayed down most of the day. I watched television all day. Lifetime movies for the most part and then changed it at 7 to watch Cold Case and then the Hallmark movie. I love them so much and yesterdays was not a disappointment either. Did anyone else watch it?
Today is looking like it is going to be another cold day. The temperature is 3 but the good thing is that there is no wind chill. It isn't snowing and it is kind of iffy about that I think. I am not fully comprehending the weather this morning. My brain must not be working to well this morning. I am just hoping that the sun comes out and then it will warm it up a bit.
I am taking my sister to the store this afternoon I guess. I talked to here last night but she wasn't sure but my bet is I am going to. I think she thinks I am stupid but guess what........my parents raised no fool since they learned with their first born. Carolyn doesn't find humor in that one since she is the oldest of the two of us. I guess she has no sense of humor. ha ha
Better get going. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers and special thought's to all. Have a wonderful day and just think in a couple of days it will be hump day and then Friday isn't far behind.
It's -2 this morning ... no wonder I'm so cold. I have PT at 11:30 a.m. so I got in the shower early so I could bundle up and warm up before going out. So I'm drinking my coffee here, bundled up in my three layers. Still too cold. I know it's winter in the great white north, but I wi**** would be just a little warmer.
George, I always want to go to SoxFest but every year something has been going on ... a few years ago, it was my hernia surgery and recently it has been my knee. I really don't like large crowds and standing in line, either, and that's what it would be in Chicago. Plus, if I'd go, I'd probably stay at my mom's and then take the train down from there (or, take the train from here downtown and stay downtown). Plus, I haven't had the money ... it's pretty expensive when you consider travel costs, tickets, etc. Some year ...
Can't wait for baseball to start, though. Two years ago when I had the knee surgery the first time, I was recuperating during spring training and got to watch a lot of spring training games during the day. Not much on during the day now (or at night, either ... lots of reruns right now, except on Thursdays).
Not much else going on after PT today. Maybe some more undecorating. Did a couple small boxes and one big box yesterday ... nothing much. I pulled in one other big box to work on today. I'm taking it easy. I can't do the two boxes in my small bedroom because I have to slide them through the hallway, and right now the malfunctioning fireplace box is in the hallway waiting for UPS to pick it up (the fireplace customer service rep suggested I put it outside ... doesn't she realize where I live? It could get buried in the snow!)
Well, that's all for today. Have a good day.
