so...up now 3 days in a row at the buttcrack of dawn......

yesterday at work was somewhat better- partly cuz i worked a half hour less! hey! sitting on one's buttocks all day long feeding a computer scanner is tiring!!! so -they got my scanner working-took two techs!! and a phone call to the manufacturer--and it was some stupid switch that had been tripped when someone cleaned the machine--and ya know what?/it wasn't me!!!!!!!!!!!!! the person who tripped it won't fess up--i think he's feeling quite stupid right about now!!!!! so this morning i will be at my own work station  for 8.5 hours!!! i'm going to be probly the only person in the darned building! taking in 3 cd's to have my own music and will lock the office door while i'm in there!!!fire up the coffee pot and go to town!!!!!!!!!

plasma donation went well- had a chance to say hi to debbie's brother! he remembered me just not my name-it's ok!! he sees soooo many ppl there!! for all of the spinach salads with steak and black beans (all iron sources) that i ate in two days, my iron was still only at 39 (needs to be at 38 or above to donate) so i was ok but it really bothers me that it's not higher for as hard as i am working at it!

michael was out freecycling again yesterday and hit paydirt at one house- so my living room looks like a thrift store! and taht doesn't count teh garage or basement**hehe** we did manage to meet a wonderful gal in findlay who teaches english and was giving away books- we brought home 8 grocery (plastic) sacks full of wonderful books for us and the older grandkids!

well- time to get dressed-nobody will see me- would love to wear my comfy jammies but i probly should put real clothes on--just in case!! it is a court house building after all!!!! times like this make me wish i worked from home!!!!!i'm already planning a 3 o'clock nap!!!!!!!

Not one thing on the agenda today except read the book club selection "The Book Thief" which I started yesterday afternoon....so far it's pretty good.  Cleaning angel came yesterday so the homestead is sparkling.
She left me a note that she won't be able to come bac****il the first of April.....boo hoo,  she has to go with her in-laws for two months to help them.....I'll miss her but I can do it myself mostly, just not the climbing on chairs and crawling under the table stuff.

It's cold again this morning -- 17 degrees and not supposed to get any warmer during the day. 

Have a invitation to go to Germany in Sept. 2010 on an eleven day trip.......I am seriously considering it -- why the heck not???  I just wi**** covered more countries over there, like Austria, and France.  The price is good and I would be rooming with another lady I already know. 

Have a good day at work, Margo......tomorrow will seem like a vacation, huh??   How's your gramma doing?

Hi Margo and Everyone,

Margo, I like the days I work alone.  I get so much more done and it seems nice to not have to deal with people for a while.  I'm so busy at work trying to catch up I should be going in today but I'm not.

Nothing much new for me.  Been busy with crochet projects when I'm not working.  Hubby is doing better so my "servitude" time is less and that's very good!

I'm not losing any weight these days.  I plan to get back to basics so we'll see if that helps. We have rain here so a long walk in the rain sounds like a great day!

Good morning Margo and everyone.
Well, I went to work yesterday but probably shouldn't have. Felt good in the morning and early afternoon, but started sliding downhill in the afternoon. Left work at 3:30, just couldn't take anymore.
We just spent the evening watching TV.  I think I went to bed before 10:00 but got up 4 times with the trots. I thought this was over with.  Finally just went into the living room and slept in husbands recliner. If you can call that sleeping.
Haven't been able to eat much, nothing sounds good. Now watching TV last night, every food commercial looked good.  For some reason I am craving pancakes.  Denny's kept advertising their all you could eat pancakes.  What would that be for me, just 1. LOL
Might have to see if hubby will go to the store and get me some pancakes or French toast.
Not much else going on, don't have the energy to do anything. Maybe I'll pop out of this some time today.

Now I have that song thumping in my head!!!.     We have to listen to a sales pitch today.  We "won"  a camera with a scratch off card we got in the mail but have to listen to the sales pitch to earn the gift.  My sisters camera died and she can.t afford another one for her trip to see her grand babies so we are gonna die of boredom to earn her one!      She's good to me about helping with the heavy duty cleaning I can't do because of health problems so  I'm tickled to have this little camera to give her in exchange!!!  
We are going to an RV show this afternoon.  We love to camp but tent camping is becoming to difficult with my ms  so we are going to go look and dream big!    Hope every one has a great day!!

Sounds like you have a lot of work to catch up on today. Some times workkng alone means you get more done a lot faster.

I am working on just  getting through the day. We heard from someone in New York late yesterday afternoon. One of Nic's
tests confirmed there is still active Neuroblastoma. The doctors are all getting together next Tuesday to come up with a plan. If this test is positive Nic cannot have the 3F8 treatments. They are hoping they can regulate it with diet. Now we play the wait and see game again. My nerves can't hardly stand it anymore!! I will be so glad to see Nic tomorrow!!!

My Christmas Party for my job is tonight. The way I am feeling I just might not go. Not feeling much like partying!

I am sending special prayers to those in need. Linda S....extra ones for you sweetie!! I miss you!!!!

Carla...I am so happy you are home once again. Rest up and take good care of yourself.

I have been having trouble sleeping also. 

I am BORED senseless so I have been cyber window shopping.  About all I can afford to do ... lol.

Good Morning Margo and Friends,

I ended up in Chehalis with Erin's family a couple of extra days. The babies were sick with colds/teething/flu shots. . . They just wanted to snuggle so how could I refuse? With them both at home Erin could not get any work done as she works from home 4 days a week. I took the train home on Thursday. Clara was still running a fever and not keeping her food down so Josh stayed home with her Thursday. I had to get home to housesit for a friend while they were on vacation. I had promised this months ago. These friends always do so much for us.

Anyway, I thought everyone was on the mend. Erin called yesterday about noon saying she was taking Clara to the doctor. She still had a fever and wasn't eating. Doctor was concerned enough to admit her to the hospital for overnight at least; possibly two nights. But the good news is that by last night she was doing much better. They gave her an IV for fluids, her fever was down, and she was drinking her bottle without upchukking it. Poor little thing. At least Erin was able to stay right in the room with her.  Josh and Hannah were at home. Hopefully she'll be home soon. I told Erin better to be overly cautious than to have spent the whole weekend worrying and possibly have her getting worse.

Only when you become a parent do you realize the enormity of the responsibility that parenting is. I saved a poem that was sent around last year around Mother's Day. "Before I was a Mom". . . I'm going to send Erin a copy. Was going to save it for Mother's Day but I think now is the time.

Mike was ready to jump back in the car and head over. We're going back over Feb 6 (just two weeks away) to baby sit for the weekend. I told him we need to wait and he feels better having talked to Erin last night.

It's snowing here again this mornig. Just a dusting so far. Hope it doesn't develop into another one like we had at Christmas. I'm ready for spring!

Carla, so glad to see you're home. My father in law had the treatments you had and responded well to them. He didn't have to have his thyroid removed. It was "just" raging in overactivity. He lost 50 lbs in about 3 months without trying. Anyway, he had two of the treatments and it brought it under control. I know yours is different but I'm confident that you'll be feeling so much better soon. Hugs.

morning margo and OFF family....man what a night!! neighbors that live right below us were fighting and up all night playing loud music!!! well guess what i did when i got up this morning?? yuppers i played my music LOUD!!! hope they enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed theirs all night!!! GRRRRRRR

well the nice warmer weather has gone away once again....its all frozen again and our sidewalks and parking area is nothing but ice mounds now....sighs....i fugure in about 7 weeks it will be spring and this crappy cold weather will be gone again!!! can't wait!!!

rick went in to work this morning only being told to go back home...his boss was on the way in and his wife called and seems there is a problem at home so no extra work to make up hours missed earlier this week...rick was also sent home at 1 yesterday because lack of work....gonna be a small paycheck next week thats for sure!!!!!

went and bought groceries last night did pretty good at save a lot and walmart. just need to get gas and woohoo i have a few bucks left over for me!!!! first time in a long time thats happened!!! but then i will save it for next week when rick is short of funds....oh well easy come easy go....

margo how do i find a free cycle place??? sounds like you are getting alot of good things there!!!! i also need to find a plasma place near me to get paid for blood...would come in handy right now!!!

annette...hope your furnace is working now and you are warm once again!!! also getting tom a new kitty just for him....way to go!! ricks cat sassy is not doing very good right now...she is old and is having trouble walking. he thinks his step dad might have stepped on her or kicked her...i say no...she is old....we think she is about 16 or 17 years old now...she also has lost alot of weight and i say put her down and end her suffering...he says he just needs to bring her here....and we aren't allowed to have another pet here...so what to do???

well i can't remember who else i wanted to post to right now but hope you all know i am thinking of you!!! have to get ready for work and will be working early shifts rest of week up to wednesday when i go back to 1-9. so if i am not here know i am thinking of you all!!! so don't worry...be happy.....; )
