Hello friends...
I have not been around much lately.  But I'm back now.
Last week I had my gallbladder removed.  Actually he ended up taking my appendix too, and cleaning up some adhesions from the previous RNY surgery.  I'm feeling better although I think the experience was tougher than the actual gastric bypass... maybe just because 2 surgeries in less than 4 months is kinda rough on a body.
Anyway... it's good to see everyone again.

welcome back, laura! your smile had been missed!
hopefully everything will be clear sailing from now on!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

OMG.......  Hope you are doing well.   Be sure to take care of yourself.

I'm amazed at how many Dr don't take out the gall bladder and appendix when they are in there the first time...

I was fortunate.  I had the gall bladder out... appendix years ago, and he put a patch in to make sure I don't have hernias.

I think they would have taken everything at once if they could...  lol

Take care of yourself....  glad to see you back.

Welcome back, sadly it is not unusual for WLS to have to turn around and have their gallbladder removed, not sure why that is. Sounds like you are all set now. Yes 2 major surgeries is hard on you so close together. Be good to yourself and you will be feeling better and better..Blessings

Laura, I am so glad to see you back at "home". When one of our family members are gone the family circle is not complete.

I often wonder too why doctors don't take everything while they are in there in  the first place. But it is my understanding that they have a board they must report to and what they did and why they did it. I know that when I get my hernia/ tummy tuck done in a few months I am going to ask him if can take my appendix out while he is in there. I know that with my luck that is going to go after this surgery. That is what usually happens to me. ha ha

Take care of yourself and get the rest that you need. Let your body repair itself. Sending love and gentle hugs to you for a good recovery.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Welcome back Laura,

Take care and rest easy. Those additional surgeries are worse than the original WLS.

Gentle hugs
