What we are eating and what's eating Us-Wednesday!
Wednesday already? It didnt snow here on Tuesday, now THAT'S news here! As a Canadian, I spent hours watching the Presidential Inauguration on TV and I have to say what a wonderful day it was...filled with new hope and energy...let's make this work!
This morning, LilyRose will be taken for a ride...poor innocent little soul, she has NO idea that her ride will stop at the Vet where she will be neutered. I will pick her up on Friday afternoon, vaccinated, shaved belly and all. I'm making her a cute crocheted pink collar to wear for a "welcome home" present.
This afternoon, I will be busy working on my Mandala colouring books...Im working on seven new themes. I'm productive and intense when I work in fine detail, continuously for hours, but it's the constant interruptions that I get, that really distract me. (eg LilyRose and her woeful cries while "in season" or my new neighbour popping by to borrow a cup of milk(it's true! last time she needed a bottle of wine!...how was I to know she was an alcoholic?).
So after I return from delivering LilyRose to the Vet, I'm sticking a big sign on the front door:
CAUTION! SCURVY - toxic area...run for your life!
Do you think that will get me some quiet time?
This is what Rufus is getting today:

We're finally expecting some rain today after 10 days of summer weather here.
I hesitate to say that knowing that most of you are having a severe winter. But
the high cost of living here offsets the mild weather.

D chicken/vegie stir fry
Gonna get back on that elliptical machine today since my muscles have recovered from some serious leaf raking/moving on Saturday.
In joy and gratitude, Linda

S- apple
L - meatball with marinara sauce
S- protein drink
D - Turkey sandwich
S- protein drink if I need more protein if not some kind of fruit
I went shopping and then went for an early lunch so I think that breakfast and lunch is going to be swapped today. Oh well, it could be worse.
L: chicken
B: sf oatmeal with 3 T high energy mix
D: chicken patty I think with veggies
S: sf pudding or sf chocolate cookie packet
I love that high energy mix. I get a small bag of it at Walgreen's for $1 and you use 3T of it and it is 5 grams of protein. Not a lot but it sure is good in the hot oatmeal. It is full of nuts, seeds, raisins and other stuff but can't remember just what. I bought 5 packets of it and put 3 of them in a storage jar. It is so good. In the oatmeal the raisins soften up and the nuts and seeds add crunch. I am so glad that I tried it.
Better get to moving. I am sending love and hugs to all, and of course that includes dear little Rufus. Prayers and special thoughts to everyone.
