One other thing.  I went to a hypnotist for sleep issues and he also addressed my head hunger.  I find that it really helped.  I don't graze anymore.  In the same vein I went on line and found a site "Brain sync brain wave meditation"  and found loads of CD with subliminal messages.  Some to help with weight loss, some on memory improvement, self esteem etc.  I am seriously thinking of ordering a couple of these.  I  googled Delta wave relaxation and it came up with several others.  I don't remember the web address but if your are interested and unable to find it I could locate it and let you know.  I have never been into new age stuff but I really think this worked and I would like to get a few CDs.  If they work it would be cheaper than doctor visits.

Good Morning George and Family,
Cheryl I have a 15 pound weight gain because of not having a thyroid right now. All I want to do is eat. It will get better when I get on Synthroid. I hope..
Going in the hospital tomorrow for about 2 to 3 days. for the I-131 treatment. Should be fun cause I cant take my knitting or my crosstitch or any books that I own. I am going to the bookstore and magazine store to get some books that I can leave there. I cant even take a travel bad with sleep pants and shirts cause Ill have to leave them if I do and I have a Vera Bradley travel bag and I surely dont want that left there.
I cant even take my cell phone so the number anyone can call me is the hospital main number and ask for the room it is 1 941 746 5111.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Carla,

Well that just stinks that you can't take your stuff with you. I am sorry. I will be thinking of you and sending out positive thoughts and vibrations through the universe to you. Also some prayers. Take care, get better, and get back home!

Cheryl

Hi George and my OFF family:

I'm on here even later than normal because I had to go to PT this morning. But it's good to be going out somewhere. I sent out an e-mail to my psychologist too, because I have been eating too much crap, too ... I need to nip the emotional eating in the bud! If anyone gets a call from me and I'm babbling, it's because I want to eat! You are my lifelines. Although I do just love to talk too ... if I'm talking, I can't eat, and that's much better.

George, your turkey recipe sounds good ... I have never thought about using applesauce either, but it makes sense. Don't have venison around here, but I know lots of people who do. I may try to make some with some ground beef I have in the freezer and then freeze them for later use. My brother Gary uses a lot of ground turkey in recipes ... in fact, if I can find it, he has a turkey meatloaf recipe that uses spinach and shredded carrots that sounds good (I've wanted to make it) that he swears by. I'll post it if I can dig it up.

PT went well ... the therapist did some massage on the soft tissue on the side of my knee that is very tight and although it hurt a little, it did feel good, too ... if that makes any sense. He said he wants to work on my balance ... he noticed me wobbling (well, I have always been a big unbalanced!). I have always been klutzy ... it's how I've fallen so often and hurt myself. Everytime I've been to PT, they try to help me with that, and it doesn't seem to take, because I keep falling.

No big plans for the rest of the day. It's nice and sunny although just 18 degrees outside, so still rather cold.

Got an e-mail from a co-worker today ... she said management si scrapping the super copy desk; it's now deemed not feasible. Hah! It was supposed to be such a great idea. My guess is next they'll want to combine newspapers by region (which is probably a better idea).

Well, that's all for now. I think it's time for lunch. Have a good day.

Not going to work today... Federal holiday and all that.... got a 3 day weekend out of the deal

Still working on "perfecting" the new eating regimen... it is going real at work, not so great when I am off work and at home, but I am finally doing a little better at night. The walks are going well... I am still walking instead of going to the gym since the walk kicks my butt enough for now... I will add going to the gym eventually.

Did all the laundry, cleaned the kitchen, took all the trrash out to the road, set up the new DVD recorder we bought last night, set up an impromptu indoor shooting range so I could adjust the sights on my poor old worn out pellet gun... had a squirrell tearing up the screen covering the attic vent and went out to whack him and the stupid gun fired about 7 inches low and to the right... if he comes back he will be in for a rude suprize... it's all dialed in now...

Worked on this laptop for about an hour getting all the nasties out of the thing.... adware and stuff... seems to be running a little better now...

That's been my day.... go to work at 6 tomorrow and will hopefully get the inventory complete so we can go back to working 8 to 4:30....

See ya all...

George,
Steak in the crock sounds great.  I would love if you gave me the recipe to try.
Thanks,

Steak was easy.

One sirloin steak (I buy mine pre-seasoned by the supermarket).  This one had barbeque seasoning.

Place crock pot cooking bag in crock pot.

Slice up beef into bitesized pieces.  Place in bottom of crockpot liner.  Add one can cream of ..... soup.  Today I used cream of mushroom.  Add one can of evaporated milk.  1/2 onion, diced up.  1/2 teaspoon garlic.  1/4 cup BBQ sauce.  1/8 cup worsty sauce.  Stir it up.  Cook for up to 10 hours on low.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
