I am drinking coffee in my new coffee mug, made in my new coffee pot and my little kitty is nibbling my toes.  I say, Kitty stop that, and she meows and I say go bite daddy's toes and she makes a distasteful face.  I know, daddy is not as sweet as mama.

So, I slept little if any last night; instead, I read a really interesting theory book.  I know, theory, argh.  I also made a new proclammation in my house: We will use only paper plates, cups, bowls, and plastic forks until I finish my dissertation.  I don't care if they never break down or if they have to cut down a hundred trees to keep me from doing one dish...I don't care.

I just made a similar pronouncement at my house, "I am using crock-pot liners, I know it hurts the earth and I'm sorry, but I am just too dang tired to wash and scrub the crock-pot out after work...." When I get to retire, I will stop using them.

Crock pot liners?  They make those???  I make 80% of my food in crock pots.  I need to find them.  Quickly!

I'll stop using them when I retire, too.

Bean soup today.  Gotta eat it at home, though.  Not enough Beano in the world for my bean soup.

Yep, Candy. They are made by Reynolds. They are near the foil and plastic wrap. I LOVE them!
Beano don't do it for me either! I just have to accept the fact that I love bean soup and therefore, I toot.

My Dad had a saying that he would sing~Beans beans the magical flute the more you toot. The more you toot the better you feel. Let's have beans for every meal. My Dad was full of sayings.....some don't have as nice of words in them. ha ha

Hey, Sweetie, I use those liners and they are just wonderful. No two ways about that one! They had to be invented by a woman because no man would think of that. Just my own opinion and I bet most women would agree.

BTW~the last time I went to buy them they were out of them. I just got a box of pan liners for the oven. They work good too. Just thought that I would share that bit of information.

They are great!  I used one just last night.  Made sirloin steak in my crock pot.  Added Cream of Mushroom soup, worsty sauce, bbq sauce, onions, peppers.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good morning, Annette and Jeannie...

I had such a good day yesterday with my grandbabies... Took care of Mattie while her mommy worked until 4.  She is such a big girl these days - going to the potty - *helping* wih the dishes, etc.  Then Steele came over to spend the night.  He had a basketball game yesterday morning and they won!  He also is growing into such a thoughtful boy.  He wanted to watch movies and I promptly fell asleep on the couch.  He got up - turned off the lights and the tv, turned back the bed and woke me up to say it was time to go to bed because I was *out of here*.  I hardly ever sit down to watch a movie without checking my eyelids !

I work today from 1p-1a at the hospital.  Need to get my butt in gear on the cycle and treadmill before I take a shower.  But as most of us, checking in on the boards is usually number 1 priority... LOL

Have a great - COLD - day !
