home from surgery

I read your comment here on this board and then checked out your website.
I am only a week away from my RNY, and it was a great help to me to know that I should expect to feel hunger for a while. I was glad to read, as I am sure you must have been too, that this goes away relatively quickly.
You and I have quite a bit in common. I also had become depressed waiting for my surgery, but now that I do know a date, I am happy. My weight was 15 months since I first started the process, but we changed insurance plans, and I am now having my surgery at a military hospital. [My husband of 37 years is retired Navy.]
I hope you will come back to this board regulary. I will be eager to know how you are progressing, and I wish you all of the very best!!
