OT Why is it.........???

The parlor is as clean as we are going to get it.  Looks much better!  But now the rest of the house looks like a disastor!  Housework is never ever done, and I get so little time to devote to it it feels like I only make a little dent.  But I guess a little is better than none at all.

Taking a yogurt break and then will see what I can get into.

It's like plastic surgery and WLS... you get the WLS.... your body shrinks...you get a butt hike, a tummy tuck, and now you need a thigh lift, your arms done and your boobs lifted.

It's never-ending.

I say the heck with it.... I'm going to thrift store shopping and just not inviting anyone over.

Sounds good to me! But sometimes folk stop in and I like to have at least one room where they can sit without clutter.

Janet, I am with you and the thrift store shopping. I wish we could go together......that would be a hoot for sure!

Come to think of it Goodwill is having their half price day today and I just might feel the need to go and peruse!

Jeane, I know just what you are saying. It is a never-ending thing here too. I just get so dang tired of cleaning and finding homes for things that I am never going to use but I am to afraid to get rid of. But I must break my arm patting myself on the back since I have been pitching stuff along the way. But still not enough as far I am concerned and if I feel like that I KNOW that Bill does too. He is not a collector~I guess opposites do attract. ha ha
If you find the good cleaning fairy  please let me know and I will e-mail you my address and google direction here for her to visit me. I promise I will send her back. ha ha

I am closing for mow and going back to stare at my new tiny pants! What a way to spend a day.........I need a life!!!!!!!!! And it can't be a cleaning one!

The best thing about spending your morning cleaning, is the nap in the afternoon!

Our next major cleaning job needs to be the unfinished basement.  It is a disastor area for sure! It won't be any day this week, but maybe it will be on next Saturday's job list!

I made a major head start in my spring cleaning a after Christmas. We rented a big 20yd dumpster, like you see on construction sites. I can't believed we filled that sucker up, to the top, with crap out of our house! All that stuff I've been 'saving' for years. Saving for what? We didn't clean out closets but everything else...if you haven't used it in the last 6mo, it went. One of my friends runs the Church Community ReSale shop here in town. She came down every day and went dumpster diving!   The good stuff I knew she'd want we set aside but she still came up with stuff I thought was just garbage.

It's so nice to have my 3 bedroom house back!

That sounds like a great idea, if I could only get my pack-rat husband to agree with it!
