What's New - Saturday!
Hope you all are tucked warm in your beds, cause it sure is frigid here, thought I know it's worse for some of you, but damn, this Artic cold. . . .
I figured since I was up compiling lists and sending e-mails for the Fall GTG and it passed 12 I would start the thread.
I will tell you that as of now, there are approximately 21 people who have expressed interest in the NYC Fall Fantastical GTG, a few aren't sure due to the state of their George Washington's, but it's shaping up to to a good bunch and I sent off and e-mail to the manager of the motel to find out about getting a block of rooms and some other questions I had, so while it's still a long ways off, I'm counting on my "peeps" to have a grand old time and paint the big apple a different kind of red!
Well all this excitement has kept me up late and I have an early morning eye doctor's appointment, so I think I'll go snuggle with my sweet boy, Dillinger.

Hello Everyone. Yes, I'm up again. Working night shift I have weird sleeping habits.
I've been reading the posts from the last few days to get caught up. It seem that everyone has been cold. This weather is terrible. Even here in the south it's cold. It's about 20 and getting colder. It's nothing compared to you northern folks though. I don't see how you can ever get warm. So keep warm. Bundle Up !
Brenda, I saw your wow moment. That is just great, you are about the same size as my Sister. I'm happy with my size 14's for now. I'll get on down there one day.
Carla, I'm glad you had some good news. I hope everything goes well with your treatment.

Well here it is 0300 and I can't get to sleep. Perhaps it is because I fell asleep on the couch about 1030 and didn't wake up till 1am.
What ever. Just made some decaf tea and had a snack. now that I am feeling better the appetite is coming back! UH OH! I think I will go out and knit for a while. It sure is cold up this way! the fire place has felt good the past few nights, that's for sure! Nothing really new here. Just wanted to pop on and say HEY!

I think you will like it here, very supportive and while we have people from as far away as Maui on here, the experiences and caring here is on par with what you are used to on the PA board.
