Jeepers - despite all the problems you are holding up real well.

It sounds like a direct correlation between the BP and the nosebleeds. PUSH the doctors to check it out soon. I'm not a nurse but this needs attention soon.

Yes ma'am!  Really Annette, thanks for your concern.  I have an appt with my useless neurologist a week from Monday and will address the issue again.  I'll ask if he can recommend an ENT, or I'll call my PCP and ask her.

debbie OMG!!! when it rains it pours!!! glad that you are safe and that the nose bleeds have stopped for now...but you MUST get that checked out soon!!! nose bleeds are nothing to fool around with!!! promise you will get it looked at soon!! ya know you can bleed to death with a nose bleed??? so going to ER should NOT be a problem!!

I have an odd relationship with deer meat.  Love the tenderloin (backstrap) and sausage.  Stew and roast I can take or leave.

oh the tenderloin....yummmmmm deer sausage is also yummmmmm cook the roast with a pork roast and lots of onions...deer meat stew....again yummmmm oh i miss having deer meat!!! enjoy some for me!!!

OK, I wasn't going to mention it but my aunt had a nose bleed and did go to the ER. They got it stopped and sent her home.  Within a very short period it happened again and she ended up being admitted.  She did not make it.  So please take this seriously.

Vera, the nose bleeds lasted over 24 hours (off and on), followed by a severe headache.  Fri. at lunch, I had another nose bleed and immediately called the ENT.  Have appt for the 26th.  Thanks for caring.

It's been ages!  How are you?

I have "heard" that your symptoms could be related to dehydration or anemia??

Maybe you can do a bit of research on those two and see what you find?

It's interesting to me that you say this started about three years ago!  That would be not long after Hurricane Katrina.  Could you be having a reaction to the air quality there? 

Every time I go to New Orleans, I get congested, my throat hurts, and my nose bleeds!

Are you still living Uptown?  How are you?

Hey Vanessa, it has been a long time!  Other than the nose bleeds and a few minor aches and pains, probably old age, I'm fine.  I was thinking dehydration.  With the colder weather, I'm not drinking enough fluids.  Will definitely bring it up with the ENT at my appt.  Just for the record, I'm a westbanker, not uptown girl!

So how are you?  Texas treating you OK?

OK, Deb, I'm going to be like everyone else.  Get the nosebleed thing checked out.  I don't want to scare you, but, I remember my grandfather having a lot of nosebleeds and the doctor said that was the body's way of dealing with the pressure.  Too much pressure on the brain from the blood.  Please get this checked out right away.  We worry about you.

Oh, can you please put me down for about 5 lbs. of deer sausage.  It makes the best chilli.
