Pearls

 Just an Idea! If you have had the Pearls for quite a few years, maybe you should take them to a reputale jeweller, and have them looked at for deterioration of the string. My friend had her mothers valuable pearls and one day they fell apart from the string, she had them restrung, but she was happy she didn't loose any of them, as they were spread out on the floor.

I am sure there is no need to worry but maybe you could have them inspected and with good luck all will be well.

Congratulations on being able to put them over your head...that must have been a wow moment.

I am sure they are beautiful on you and Pearls are so "all Occassion" you will get years of wear.
