Good Morning George and My OFF family,

It was a crazy day yesterday. Spent the day in the office on floor duty and there was not even a call!  My appointment did not show up and when I called him we reset for next week.  What a waste of good time.  Grrrrr! Such is the live of a REALTOR!

DH is off to work and I am about to have a cup of hot cocoa with protien powder to start my day.

Mom is doing pretty good right now which is weight off of my mind!  Gotta get moving to get some housework done while I am waiting for response to business emails I just sent.

It's 33 degrees below zero here with a windchill factor of 55 below. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I am staying in  and staying warm. Way too cold to go anywhere. I think I will read a book and sip hot chocolate today. Everybody else who has to deal with this cold weather---stay warm! Nancy

Morning to you, George and my other OFF family. I am hoping that everyone is staying warm this morning. I am working on it but it sure is hard to do.

The temperature out is -10 and it is so cold. It is quiet with no snow falling or blowing. It is suppose to be a mess but right now the temperature is the worst of it. Yesterday it was the temperature and the blowing snow. It was so bad with the blowing that at times you weren't even able to see in front of you. I am worried about Bill being out there on his way to work. I am just going to stay at home again today. It is just to darn cold out there for me to be out. I am sure my heart doctor wouldn't be happy with me if I went out.

I was suppose to go with my cousin this morning to help her with my aunt and uncle. DU is having a procedure for his kidneys this morning. I was suppose to go and help DC with her mom and dad in the wheelchairs but my other DC is taking the day off and going to be there so they told me to stay home and out of the cold. I have to admit that makes me happy. Well, I am just being honest!  I guess they are thinking of not taking DA with them. I told them I agree with that since she has no business out in it. I know that she won't be happy but I told DC that DA isn't going to be able to see DU if she continues to be not feeling well. Oh the trial of a couple that has been inseparable for about 65 years. My heart breaks for them at this point in their lives.

I am getting the service for Sunday just about done. I am not looking forward to this whole thing at all. For some reason I am unsure of myself. I don't like feeling that when I have to do the service on Sunday. The last time I felt so sure and it showed and if I must say myself, I did a good job. This is the first one to fill in for the new Pastor. I think that is the problem.

I guess I should be going. Nothing much to report on this place for sure. I didn't get on past the time I was on early yesterday so I need to get caught up on everyone's life. I miss a lot when I don't check in a couple times a day. everyone's life is so busy~of course with the exception of my life!

That reminds me~ the cable guy came yesterday and stupid me~when I got those screens and was working on getting out of them, I got the television off channel 3. I don't know how I missed that and boy did I feel like a fool. He was so nice about it and told the cable company that I canceled the appointment at the door or he said that they would have charged me for the call. I guess they have to do something technical for the call or you get charged. He was so nice. One of the nicest that I have gotten in a long time. But boy did I feel like a fool.

I am going now. For sure this time! I am wishing everyone a great day today and please oh please stay warm if you if in the places that are bitter cold today. Otherwise if you are where it is warm please oh please oh please send us some!!! I am sending love and hugs to all along with special thoughts if you would like them and prayers if those are your choice. Have a wonderful day and remember to smile since it uses more muscles to smile than to frown and it makes you look much niceer too!!!

I can totally relate to being able to overeat on anything -- being able to scrounge an unhealthy snack out of nothing.  Annette and Karen C.:  I hope your husbands can learn to manage their food demons and get to a healthy weight.  We all know how hard it is to do that.

I am worrying about Margo.  I sure hope that she is OK.  I miss seeing her on OFF.  Hopefully, she'll return soon.

Hey Cindy P, I miss Margo too, but I did have a PM from her and she's not here because anything is wrong at her home.....it's her choice and I respect that, but I hope one day she will rejoin us....we'll just have to wait and see.  You can always send her a personal msg.

It's -9 here this morning and my garage is holding steady at 30 ....did have the electric heater going out there yesterday until bedtime....my washer/dryer are in the garage, so have the problem of not letting the washer freeze (which it has).  The snow plow man finally came and cleaned out my drive way after I called him and complained that I almost got stuck pulling in yesterday...geeze!

Stay warm all in the frigid zones, and don't go out unless you absolutely have to.....skin can freeze in just a few minutes.

has someone tried calling her????? hope nothing is wrong she is always on here.

It is cold and windy here.  Yesterday, I thought it would be warm but it turned out to be so cold that I regretted wearing a skirt to work.  My legs, even with tights on, froze. Today, I'm putting on the long johns, the heavy pants, and two sweaters and my coat.  I know you are proud of your grandson, my grandson grew the largest cabbage and we took so many pictures of that cabbage, you'd a thought it was the grandson. LOL

COLD?!?!  Well, I think we are cold.  We won't get above freezing tomorrow.  But I have a Sis in upstate NY, a BIL in NE, and a cousin in IN.  So I will count my blessings.

Grandson came rushing in this AM needing to print out a report for school, AGAIN!!!  His laptop is synched to my wireless printer.  He COULD have put it on a flash drive and printed it on his Mom's puter.  Of course, before his laptop woke up he had to go, so he wouldn't be late for school.  So Grandma printed it and delivered it to the office.  This is the second time this month this has happened!  The man is a Senior in High School and will be going off to college next year.  I didn't mention it to his parents last time, but my DH says we should this time.  I could have made him wait and he would have been late, but he drives 3 other neighborhood kids to school and they would have been late, too.  One of the things that concerns me is, this is the SAME report he did 2 weeks ago.  He said he was supposed to make corrections and resubmit it, but he didn't have time, so he was turning it back in 'as is'.  I KNOW he and his friend spent 3 hours yesterday making CDs of music for their cars, cause they came here for jewel cases.  And BTW, I read this report when he did it originally, and to me it is 4th grade work (compared to what my youngest grandson was turning in in OR a few years ago)!  But this school system accepts this kind of mush!

Oh well, I am SOOO glad my kids are all working and successful.

Hi All,
Well I dont have the clean up the suppper food wity my husband. He only eats protien and veggies and not much junk. He has lost about 40 pounds in the 7 years I had weight loss surgery.
He is thinner than when I married him.
It is os cold here about 48 and not going abouve 57 today. I dont know if that is rare for Florida or not.
Today I am bundling myself up and going to my PCP to get more labs drawn.
