Anything that supports and encourages us I think is a good thing, I see you had your surgery about the same time I did. This is the time when we can start gaining back if we are not careful, I like the way some of the others but it, not as a diet but as a lifestye change. Maybe if you see it as your going to support your daughter ( I love doing things with my daughter) and find ways to motivate and reexcite yourself in the process. Take what you want from th eprogram and leave the rest behind.Have fun, blessings

WW never worked for me too much focus on food so my mind was always thinking about food.  However, there is an option that doesn't count points etc.  Someone else mentioned it .  Used to be called the Core Plan.  It just lists allowed foods and you make choices.  Your don't count calories or points.  If you feel you need to go with your daughter this might work for you.  Maybe you could agree to go to a few meetings to get her "settled in"  and comfortable with the group and then bow out.  Sometimes you just need help getting started.

My daughter and I both go to TOPS once a week. The weigh-in keeps us on our toes. And I love the women there. It's much less expensive than WW and the diet piece is your choice.

WW is not a diet, it is a lifestyle plan and I can't see how WW can hurt.  Just my opinion.
