Asking for your opinion!
I still go to TOPS for a weekly weigh in. I'm almost 4 yrs post RNY. I still need to be accountable to that scale. Not obsessed, just accountable. I spent way too many years avoiding the scale. I look at it as a support group. I take what I like and leave the rest. Think of it as a food plan for life which is what we all are trying to do. Just my humble opinion.

I joined in the fall, to get the materials because my hubby wanted to do it and with his work schedule he cant attend meetings. I went for several weeks and the only reason I stopped was, we went on vacation and I got behind on meetings and didnt want to pay for meetings missed.
However, I lost weight doing the core plan, which now they have incorporated that all into what they call the momentum plan. Its a lot like our "protein forward" eating, so it works for us too. I needed the accountability of the scale too, lost 7 pounds in a short time. I got some great recipes, like the taco soup I shared here,
Its free registration now till March 9th I think, you just pay the weekly fee to join.
Its a lifestyle, not a diet, A diet is something you start and end,,a lifestyle is something you live . I just took that attitude when I started. I was a WW dropout countless times before WLS, so I felt a little trepidation when I went in, but when I saw that I was one of the smallest ones there,,it was kinda neat! A whole new scenario! I probably had the least to lose for a change!
Hubby has lost 30 pounds so far, so Im glad I went, and I am going to go back next week for myself. It just helps me work the tool, if ya know what I mean.
Good luck in whatever you decide. Imjust sharing my experience!
Blessings
