  I knew that would come back to bite me on the butt!  Handcuffs, fun, then the chocolate martini in that order.  If I started with the choc. martini, there'd be nothing else 'cept lots of giggling and a nice nap.

Three day weekend and son is turning 40.... so I have to stay or I would have flown down.

Aw shucks!

A son turning 40 is a big deal.  My daughter (the oldest) turned 35 in Sept.  One son will be 33 in March, the other 31 in April.  Damn are we getting old?

George will be home Fri. late afternoon and we're heading to Eunice, LA to visit daughter, SIL, and Gabe for Gabe's b'day - he just turned 7 on the 13th.

Ya know, I have several movies I borrowed from my sister who worked for a movie distributor years ago.  She would get demo movies to preview.  I'm also working on a baby afghan.

Yes, we are getting some really cold weather.  Luckily the sun is shining.  I was so well layered this morning it's a wonder I could drive!  Thermal underwear, long-sleeved t-shirt, flannel shirt, jacket, two pairs of socks, jeans, gloves.  I have the portable heater on under my desk to warm my feet and legs.  I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold.

"Me time"  never liked it!  Guess I have no choice but to give it another try!  LOL

oh debbie i know what you mean being alone!!! i never could sleep good if i was alone...and especially now...the nights ricks leg hurts really bad he slepps on the couch so he doesn't disturb me...i keep telling him i sleep better if he is IN bed with me and not on the couch...hope you do ok there...keep warm!!!

Judy, George usually falls asleep on the sofa in the living room and me in the recliner in the den.  At some point during the night we both manage to climb the stairs and go to bed.  I think we both sleep better downstairs, but we miss each other's company.
