Hi all,
This will be really short: rough night here, up til 2 am coughing, up at 5 am thanks to the dogs.... back up at 6 coughing. ...hack,hack...hack...
DH wanted me to go to Menards with him, but he decided I really need to stay in, try and get some rest. so off to watch/snooze with the Football game on.....as long as the coughing holds off for a bit. the doc said he doesn;t think I have pneumonia but man...this is kicking my butt!

Good Afternoon Pat and my OFF Family,
We went to church this morning but did not stay for preaching. I taught my Sunday School class and we did a craft ( I have 3rd and 4th graders). My sciatica is acting up and I can't sit for too long at a time so sitting in the pews was out of the question. I know how it feels Brenda!!! I carry a small pillow for me to use as lumbar support when I do stay. It really helps! I also try to keep a throw in my bag as sometimes it is really cold in the santcuary. My mom really feels it so I throw it over us.
We made a large cauldron of homemade veggie soup yesterday and I did not have time to get it canned. So I will do that as soon as I Log off here. Thank goodness that DH is here to do the lifting!!! It saves me so much time and keeps us from wasting so much food. I don't seem to be able to make a small pot it just grows and grows!! LOL. I do the same when I make Chili or Spagetti Sauce. A real time saver! I am going to try to can some Beef Stew the next time I make a pot. The last pot I made we had my DS and the 4 grandchildren, my DD and her fellow, my mom and SIL and sent some to MIL so there really were not any leftovers to can!!
Better get off her and get to it! Waste not, Want not as Grandma used to say!!

Hello Pat and everyone!!
I am really late getting here today. Sounds like some of you got hit hard with snow. It missed us ....we only got a dusting. However....the temps are really freezing cold!!!
I am having a really relaxing and peaceful weekend. Dwayne and are just hanging ou****ching football and not much else.
So nice to share tlhe day with someone you care about.
