Good morning Pat and all you OFFers.

Ready for Sunday School and church.  Then I may go to the gym for the first time since I was released from the hospital, but I may put it off until I see the doctor.  Gotta think about it.  Can't decide whether I am trying to be safe, or just a case of any excuse for not working out is better than none.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George, this is just my own opinion, but, I do think I would wait until I got the o.k. from the doctor to go back to the gym. After all that you have been through I would hate to see you have more problems. You have had more than your share lately.

Hi Pat, thanks for getting the thread started this morning.  Good Sunday morning to everybody.
Just thought I would check in before going to church this morning.
Yesterday, was a busy day. I went to an embroidery class in the morning. Then came home long enough to pick up something to take to somebody and then off to a Premier jewelry party.  They have nice stuff and I can't believe I paid $35 for a necklace.  I usually buy my jewelry when it is really cheap and on sale.  But it was a fun party and something to do.  I imagine I will end up going to another one because another lady from work booked a party.
Then when I got done with the party, had to go grocery shopping, fill my car up with gas, that has gone up this past week, but still not as bad as a couple months ago.  It will probably go back down after the inauguration.
Annette, I hope you get to feeling better and soon. Same thing for you Brenda, I hope your back gets better soon. And Floyd I hope Brenda gets to come home today and you get some rest.

You know my nose runs more now than it ever did. Not constantly but when I eat my nose starts running or should I say dripping.  It seemed to start after I had surgery, not sure if there is a connection.  And I know this is TMI but when I have to go to the bathroom (#2), sometimes it really runs. I can't believe I just wrote this. LOL  But anyhow, it makes me wonder what they connected during my surgery. LOL

Well, better get going, need to get ready for church.

Take care and have a good Sunday.

Mickey

Judy, the reason everyone is out and about at the sign of snow is because they are so afraid of a blizzard. I figured that out from the nuts around here. The way I figure is when they see a snowflake they panic that there won't be enough bread, milk and garbage for them to live through for a gazillion days!  I must have learned well from my mom who survived the great depression.

Good Morning. I bet with temps ike that most people chose to stay under the covers.
We didn't get the snow I was hoping for yestrday. I want a good deep snow to keep me home for days!
Last week was so stressful at work. I spent the week creating reports from some data. I hate numbers. They don't like to add up for me. These reports are enough to make me create a sign that says I resign! I told my staff if I had more reports to do Monday, I would be calling in dead.
I picked LP up Friday night. He was such a joy. We played and giggled together. I miss having him with me full time. I hope that he will be with me more very soon.
Love ya'll!!

Hi Pat and OFF world!
Well we got 11,.9 inches of snow in about a 30 hour period from Friday afternoon till Saturday night.  Sure looks like a foot to me!! LOL!
I shoveled half the drive yesterday morning and while the snow is very light weight, it wore me out.  Came back in to warm up and rest and whilst making a cup of tea a car pulled to a stop by my drive and a young girl came to the door saying that for $20 they would finish mydrive.  I rumaged thru my purse and had only $8 so I told her no.  look out again and the whole family is shoveling the drive!  I scrounged around and found a few more $ and took them thankfully out to them.   How nice!  I felt every one of the 56almost57pushing60years I am yesterday!  Friday night I had to drive to Rossford in the snow (about 22 miles each way) and pick up 3 dogs, 2 cute affenpincers and one chihuahua mix. the chi whined all night.  the affenpincers were velcro dogs.  I managed to get them to the event yesterday (again in Rossford) and they got taken by new fosters.  (yeah!)
I guess it is about time for me to get cleaned up and dressed.  Lazy day today!  going to knit and sip chai!
Contemplating some dicey news about a friend and their health.  Very scary business.  Hoping to have the right words to say to her.
Have a good Sunday!

Hi Pat and my OFF family:

Well, it's snowing here again in West Michigan. Big fluffy flakes. The newspaper's weather page says we got just an inch of snow, but I heard on the news last night after the football game that it was more like 3-5 inches. And it looks like that. I don't have to go out in it anyway, not for another week. This week, toward the end, I may make a trip out to the store and the chiropractor. Especially the chiro! He's just a mile down the road. I plan to practice driving around the condo complex this week, because next week I can drive again (but I may start earlier, because my leg does feel rather strong and I have to go to outpatient PT).

No big plans for today, jus****ching football on TV. I thought about stripping the bed and washing sheets, but decided it would be too big of a project. Too difficult to get the sheets off the bed with one arm (because the other one is stuck on the cane). Maybe next week.

I've been wondering where Margo is too ... she hasn't posted in a long time. Anyone heard from her?

Well, that's all from me. My coffee is almost gone, too. I've been getting up so early (8-9 ... that's early for me) and going to bed so early, don't know what I'll do when I have to stay up late for work again in a few weeks.

Have a good day. Stay warm and safe.

I am doing major cleaning chores today!
