Good morning!

Waiting for husband to get out of the shower so I can get in.

I have done my tread mill 30 minutes and breakfasted and pilled.

It is a pretty busy day with normal Sunnday morning tasks, a meeting at 1:30 and a visit at 7.

I went to bed before 9 last night, I was worn out!

Hope you all have a good day!

Good morning to you, dear Pat. I can certainly hear you on the weather. Ours is just about the same here. I am so tired of winter I can't stand it. Enough is enough and so let's move on already! Please.........

I decided not to go to church today. I know......bad me. My back is just hurting so badly that I can't imagine sitting in the pew even though it is padded. They are most certainly not the most comfortable places to sit. At least not at my church anyhow. Personally I did better before they added the padding.

Misty's little friend was back during the night to see her. Their little prints come up to the patio door and then go on through to mosey somewhere else. I am not sure how someone let's the cat out in the cold that here now. He was out and about when it was so snowy too. I try to figure it out and I just can't seem to wrap my head around that.

Nothing to much is planned today. I am hoping that I can just stay home and do not much. Maybe that will help my back feel a little better. I am walking like a little old lady, all bent over and hobbling. I am just to young to be doing this. But then again maybe the body just isn't sure how young I am after all. ha ha I need to sit down and have a chat with it.

I better get going. I am going to take a hot shower and see if that helps the pain....man oh man I hope so. I am alright as long as I don't move. You just can't go through life not moving....that is kind of impossible. But the pain is so bad at times that I wish I could. I do it as little as possible. ha ha

I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers to those who want them and special thoughts to others. Have a wonderful day and know that a smile is a simple thing to do and it might make someone happier. Oh wow...how deep I am! ha ha

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

we re in Colfax La. this morning, on our trip on the trike...we have been here since Friday afternoon was beautiful here yesterday with it being in the 60s is suppose to only be 58 here today but partly cloudy today , tomorrow we are going to go to my sisters in Conroe Texas,  and stay a few days....after there we will be on the road for a few days going to Tucson AZ....i am having a good time with having my laptop along with us and i dont have to worry about getting somewhere with wifi with the alltel card. i have internet everywhere so far. will be interesting to see how well it will do across the U.S.
Any way not taken many pictures yet on the way down i was so cold and wrapped up so tight i couldnt manage the camera... so just sit on the back of the bike and slept. lol
that was after i got some of the hot hand to put in my boots, gloves and down in my legs and arm. they make great big ones for that and they were great. i put a great big patch down my legs on the shins and on the upper parts of my arms when i got nice and toasty like that i just went to sleep . lol

so hoping the rest of our ride is more pleasant than the first part was....one thing about it this is a cheap way to travel....we have spent 20 dollars on gas so far , we did spend 200 yesterday on a tire for the front of the bike but we needed to do that before we left and would have done that at home even if we hadnt taken this trip . so that really dont count....and so far we have had only one motel stay , will have more of those between Tex and Az that is for sure.

talk to you all more later. wish us well on the open road. wish some of you were with us for the ride.      Jan

Jan,
What an adventure. Good for you. My motorcycle license has cobwebs on it, shucks ... no cycle any more. Ride on and have a blast.

I asked you before you left if you were coming through Littile Rock, but didn't hear. But if you're in LA already, guess the answer is no.  So sorry we didn't meet up!

Ride safely!

The past few days I have been a drift in and out of LaLa Land. Reading so many warm responses has helped, but then the crying begins or sleep overwhelms me.

Yesterday Tom and I went out to run errands. The heater in his car quit and it was beastly cold. I got cold, ha - that's an understatement. My hands and feet went from cold to completely numb. Then nausea set in from shivering or nerves, I am not sure if it was one or the combination but I was ill. Each time I tried to eat or drink my nose ran. Not little drips but faucet type running. I am certain it had to do with that weird pouch getting stressed and perhaps the Vegus Nerve (not sure of the spelling). At least I think that's what happened.

All that was wrong with Tom's car ... it needed a teensy bit of anti-freeze.

Today I can't say I am all better but food stayed down, the nose is under control and the shivering has stopped. Guess I will survive after all.

Hugs to all for your kindness and understanding
Annette
