Hi, I'm home

Hi, thank you all so much for the prayers & well wishes. Took a long nap & woke up in time for more pain pills. Just to let you DH is doing a wonderful job of taking care of me.
I believe this is what marriage is all about. Helping me to the bathroom, putting clean clothes on me & helping me to shower, changing bandages. You all know, the real romantic stuff! I am feeling better, may try to get out for a little bit this weekend. Thank God for WLS, I can't even imagine this being as big as I was. I love you all!

Tell you what. I got a new appreciation for my spouse when I came home following my lower body lift with 3 drains. They had to be "stripped, measured and emptied" several times a day. Not a fun chore and one I couldn't do for a few days. The "for better or worse" part!

Glad you are home before the snow gets worse ... it's really snowing down here now. Rest up and let your hubby do all the work for you. Take all those pills ... the painkillers will do wonders.

Keep in touch! I still make those wonderful turkey rollups and protein balls you fed us in Frankenmuth ... yum! Even mom and Aunt Bernice loved the protein balls ... didn't tell them they were good for them (but the old folks loved the fact they were nice and soft).
