Hi all , just wanted to let you know I got home last night.
I still don't understand why they kept me so long. I think the painkillers messed with my mind. No tubes!! Thankfully
just a hole in my back. I do have a new stint in place that will come out in 2 weeks and lots of new colorful pills.
Thanks to Carla & Eileen and to all of you. Well, ready to take a nap now.

Floyd, you & Brenda are in my thoughts & I hope the worst is over.

Ya  Know...  I was wondering about you and I couldn't remember your screen name and then I would sit down to ask and... yup, I'd get caught up in other threads and forgot to ask.

I'm so glad to hear you are home.  what do you do from here as far as recuperation?  Stint comes out .... then what?

You are in my thoughts and prayers

Hi Nan, so glad you are finally home and doing better.
I know you will be glad when the stint is out and gone....as for the pills, well, time will tell, huh?  I was just reading over some info on allopurinal that I take for gout and found out it is also prescribed for kidney stones.....who knew?

What hospital were you in????

Hopefully we can get everyone on the OFF board well and healthy once again.....thinking of you all.

Hugs,
Pat R.

Welcome back Nan! Those painkillers can really do a number on a person. My husband had a spinal fusion a few years ago. He called me at 3am to let me know that "Something is wrong. They are messing with me. The clock is moving on the wall and the hands are going backward. . . and the Russians have just landed!" Thankfully some Xanax and a wonderful nurse had him back in normal in a few hours. He still remembers how frightened he was.
