A Huge Wow!!!!!

My office is on the seventh floor.  Today, after I bought books and found my reference materail for one of my classes, I decided to take them up to my office, so I could go to the meeting without all the extra things.  Anway, the elevator man was doing something to the elevator and the other one was at the top and I was at the bottom and I didn't want to wait and I did it.  I not only climbed the seven flights of stairs, but I also did it carrying two sacks of books.  I've done it before, but never with such ease.  I guess that is my wow. Oh, that and when hubby and I went out to eat, I only ate three jumbo shrimp and a bite of my sweet potato.  Now, if only I could only hold three chips. LOL

Congratulations and I might add, a job well done. I never cease to amaze myself when something like that happens to me. Life just keeps getting better and better!

Stairs will always be a problem for me because of my knees, but I can do it now without going into caridac arrest. LOL

That is a huge WOW!  Good for you. I get a smile on my face everytime I walk from my office out to my car in the parking lot without having to sit down, something I couldn't do a year ago.

Those little things that everyone else takes forgranted are so special and make us so happy. Like, walking, sitting in booths, ect.

Even after almost 4 years I still stare at the "space" in front of me between my stomach and the front of the table in a booth. I used to be literally wedged in if I could even squeeze myself in. The steering wheel rubbed my belly even when the seat was pushed back all the way. A 6 inch seat belt extension was maxed out. Thanks for the reminder.

I remember scoping out chairs to find one that would hold me and that I would fit into.  I totally had booth phobia.  I am still amazed at the room between me and the steering wheel.  Even lap room, having a lap. LOL

A lap, how could I forget about a lap. I had NONE! Not even room for my tiny little dog. Now there is plenty of room for 2 squirming 9 month olds and the dog. . . My huge stomach did truly come almost all the way to my knees when I was sitting down and with a huge shelf above. My clothes stay so much cleaner now when I eat. I couldn't get close enough to the table and no spoon had a long enough handle to get from plate to mouth without spilling.

I can't wait until I get to that place. Stairs and having to walk any distance at all is what keeps me from doing so many things.
