Stress Eating
I keep carrots to crunch and Wasa Crackers. I was very very stressed last because my granddaughter was married and I had to do the wedding cake. I kept carrots and Wasa Crackers. I did have a tad of peanut butter on the crackers one night. (I do most of the stress eating at night...don't know why...I just always have.) I keep protein bars just in case I need extra protein, but they are great in the event I need a "sweet". This may not help, but this is how I deal with it.
I have not tried Wasa crackers. I do eat a lot of carrots though. I cannot do the protein bars because they just make me ill. Some have too much sugar and I have a problem with sugar alcohols. It only takes me throwing up once or twice and I don't do the food again. Peanut butter, I think, has saved my life. I put it on apples, celery, and just about all crackers. One of these days, I'm going to learn to make my own and make it fresh every day. Well, it's an idea.

First, I want to say it is something I wish I knew when I was a student. It never struck me to think the teachers would be just as nervous as the students. I think if I knew that when I was a kid, it may have eased my stress.
Anyway, regarding your question, I resort to Crystal Light. I increase my liquids.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
George, especially teaching college students. Many of them are so stressed out because they come from schools where they were the smartest, cutest, most athletic, or many do, and they get here and they are like everyone else and so they are panicky and often try to disrupt the class to fit in. I can handle them but it always makes me a little edgy that first day of class when I have to assess the students writing, their personalities, their needs. I, of course, want all my students to suceed, so I put extra into it. The first day is always the worst. It's like having a first day on the job three times a year, or the beginning of each semester. A little disconcerting. I used to drink the crystal light like crazy and I ended up with pneumonial and went on steroids and as a result had ulcers develop in my mouth and esophagus and, not thinking, I drank the crystal light and it just tore my mucus membrane to pieces...like other foods, if I get sick or have an adverse effect, I just don't use them again. I know it's a little silly, but every time I see a crystal light package, my mouth burns. LOL
