5 DAY POUCH TEST---DAY 4
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!
well how did you do with being able to eat some real food again? i did really good in my opinion...had some eggs, cottage cheese, talipia and sf pudding. i also used one chocolate protein shake just to get extra protein in. i never knew talipia could taste so good as it did last night....LOL rick wasn't sure if he would like it because it was baked and not fried but once he tried it he loved it!!! said i fixed it really good!!! :)
so for today i am planning on having oatmeal, tuna fish, bean soup with a little ham added in chopped up small along with some onion and carrot. hope thats ok to eat today. i am getting in alot of water and man i am still running potty every hour if not sooner!!!
i still am not getting on the scale because i want to have a nice loss (if possible) come monday!!! ;)
sooo tell me how you are doing now.....are your cravings gone for sweets and carbs? i have this sweet taste in my mouth so i guess i am doing good....i think its called ketosis? (sp) so like i said hopefully monday i will show a good loss...or maybe i should weigh in on saturday because that will be the day after the last day of the 5 day test...hummm ok guess its saturday....
OH!!! i am working early shift tomorrow so one of you will have to start the thread for me please....thanks so much!!!

thanks brenda!!!! i feel so much better since getting this far into the test!!! i am not really craving anything at all anymore and looking at the left over cookies here i am not even wanting to eat one!!! so this IS working for me!!!!
looking at having a steak for supper tomorrow night. someone had steaks on the grill last night and let me tell you the smell was driving me crazy...LOL told rick something really smelled in the hallway and he should go smell see if he knew what it was...LMAO he came back in and said "STEAK!!!!" OH YEAH!!!! LOL we will have steak tomorrow night for sure!!!!

So far so good! I almost caved last night for some popcorn,,its a habit, I wasnt really craving it. But I had tuna instead so was good. Got on the scales this morning and was five pounds down right on the nose. Ive noticed the bloat is gone, and my clothes fit better. No cravings at all. Im doing a protein shake a day as well, and adding shredded cheese to my soups for extra protein too.
Today its oatmeal, chili, pudding. Im finding I get full with less too. Thats a good thing.

Sounds like you are doing great! How did you fix your tilapia? I bought some but have never cooked it before, so need a recipe. Hubby is doing weigh****chers so would appreciate it too, he loves fish.
Well, gotta go, going out for brunch,,thats where the oatmeal comes in,,LOL. We are going to Flapjacks, they have great breakfasts there.

WOW!!! you are doing fantastic betsy!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!! glad that you didn't cave in last night to popcorn!!!
the way i fixed the talipia was to spray the pan with pam, washed the fish off then sprayed some i can't believe its not butter on them and then added salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and then sprinkled some parmesean cheese on them and baked them for about 10 minutes you can also broil them for about 5 minutes. (or until flakey either way) and they were so good!!! rick said he would eat them like that again so i guess they did taste good...LOL hope you try them and like it that way!!
