What we are eating and what's eating us Thursday..
Hello sweet Marylyn. I still take blood pressure meds,just one now,I was up to 5. I take predisone,but 10mg, only when needed,instead of 60mgs daily, I have no more diabetic issues. My asthma meds have been cut down more than half. I am sure Walgreens misses my extra money...grin.
Turnip greens rock! I made some for the hoildays,and found out my grandkids like them too!! I do not think there is a green I don't like.
Good for you,using the best,high vitamin lettuce! The greener the lettuce the better!

Morning to you, our sweetie. I hope that today is good for you. I am hoping for the same for me. We shall see.
Today is the start of my new life plan with food. I am so tired of being sick and tired I decided that I was not going to do it anymore. I have been nibbling all during the Christmas season and it is time for me to stop. Today is the start of that. I know just where to go if I have problems. I will get help there.
B: sf oatmeal w/o milk
S: banana
L: ham and cheese roll up~two
S: applesauce
D: shrimp and veggies
S: cheese sticks
I am going to stick to this come h3ll or high water. That is what I am promising today and that is my story and I'm sticking to it!

I am still trying to lose that lousy two pounds I put on over the holidays.....UGH!! Might have to do the 5 day pouch test to get back on track!!
Thing are going okay around here. Colder then heck but other then that all is well.
Still dating Dwayne........he is good to me for sure!! I saw my therapist yesterday and we discussed how this relationship is proceeding. I care a lot about Dwayne. I still love Tony and probably always will. Working hard on letting that go. Easier said then done after a four year relationship. I have no desire to ever be with Tony again. The feelings just pop up now and then.
Hope you are feeling good today. I know everyday is a struggle for you. You are always in my thoughts and prayers....always!!

Hey Boo! Huggers! It is good to realize that you will always love your ex. It was part of my recovery to accept that about my ex,I stopped waiting for myself to stop caring,I will always care for and about him,but I would rather have my tongue pierced than spend another day in a relationship with him.
This is who we are Boo,we are built that way.
I bet if you stay on your usual path those 2 pounds will disappear!

I talk to my new guy,and he seems to know to take it slowly with me,maybe after 2 years of hearing me yap about ex in and men in general.He calls at least twice a day to check on me,and make me laugh.
I am returning to work after a week of battling the winter curse!!.

We tend to think we are going through this alone,indeed!
It is usual to think we are the only person going through this eating disease. We shoot that out of our heads,and that is half our progression,.
We need to remind ourselves of this...smile.

I must be at that three month stall that people talk about. Have been tracking my food, exercise and protein are up, getting better with the liquids but scale still hasn't moved this week. At least I've curbed the holiday weight gaining and know that I just need to hang in there.
B Nectar Latte protein drink with skim milk
s small apple
L chili con carne
s protein wafer
D steak stif fry with baby bella mushrooms and green onions
(I was going to have this last night but went out for spinach salad/shrimp instead)
s SF pudding or Skinny Cow fudgecycle.

I'm trying to cut carbs today. I have allowed 100 in the past. Cutting to 50 today. Last evening I kind of fell off the wagon, but only ate 2 wasas(40 cal.) with 2 tbl. of hummus(100 cal.) I didn't beat myself up though, which is progress.
BB - tea

L - homemade veggie soup
S - Plain yogurt with some kind of fruit
D - spagetti sauce with lots of meat over cottage cheese
S - slice of LF lebanon bologna and string cheese
