I am so sorry for your loss Linda.

As far as my food yesterday and today.... whatever the hospital gives me, plus Mary brings me my cheese.

Hello, dear one. I am so sorry for the loss of your family member. It is hard to lose someone whom we love. Please remember that I am here for you if you need me to talk to and that you remain in my prayers during your special time now with your loss.

I have a few things to do today and I am not looking forward to any of them. I just want to stay home and warm in my little abode. It is cold and snowy out there today. we got about an inch of snow during the night so that means that I am going to have to clean my car off! ICK! I hate doing that.

B: low carb slim fast
2nd B: sf oatmeal w/o milk
L: fruit
2nd L: chicken salad with wheat crackers
D: fruit
D: fish of some sort with veggies
S: sf pudding

It seems to work out better for me if I eat this way. I tried just having the 3 meals a day and just kept grazing and so that was not good. You know the old saying "If it works don't fix it". It seems to be in order here.

I better go. I am sending you love and lots of hugs and know that we are here for you. I always keep you and yours in special prayers. Have a good one today and keep smiling.

I've been struggling with food issues over the holidays as have many of you.  I found out that after almost 2 yrs. that I don't dump on sugar and that is NOT a good thing!  I haven't gained YET but I know what's coming if I don't get back to basics FAST! After 7:00 p.m. I'm like a herion junkie lookin' for a fix.  Last night it was only popcorn and that was a little move in the right direction. So here  goes for today:
B- whole wheat pancake, turkey bacon & SF syrup
S - FF yogurt 
L- homemade veg. soup
S - chicken, 1/2 sm. baked sweet potato, broccoli
S - Cottage cheese with strawberries

Ohhh yes, I'm fine for a little while after dinner then....  a bell goes off in my head...  like the start of a race...  How much food can I eat until bed time.....  ugh...  

I'm finding that I have to have preset snack items... measured, and set in one spot....  I cannot eat one snac****il XX time....  then the next at XX time...  If I don't.... OMG  I'm all over the kitchen wanting snack items.  Just like a junkie...  well, I guess I am a junkie of sorts.  

Plus I can't just sit ..  I NEED to keep my hands occupied... craft of some sort.

Morning y'all and special hugs for Linda today. 

I've been focusing on exercise this week and am pleased to report doing 30 minutes both Monday and Tuesday on the elliptical machine here at work.  But my appitite seems to be increasing, especially in the evenings after 1000 calories and plenty of protein.  I may be eating too many carbs.  Gonna try more liquids in the evening and count the extra trips to the potty as exercise. 

B coffee/yogurt
S protein wafers
L chili con carne
s tangerine or apple
D steak/mushroom/green onion stir fry
s SF pudding
