I Want To Say Hi!!
Hey and welcome. You and I are about the same out. My surgery was in 06 and I'm still losing but at a slower pace. I still eat in a small plate, still use a teaspoon to eat with and still measure things. I never go back for seconds and if I still feel hungry after I eat, then I gulp water and it usually helps. I also walk like a fend. Someone said that we substitue one bad habit for another: some drink, some shop, some start smoking, or sex, or whatever, but I walk. My husband hates to shop with me because I get more enjoyment out of the fast walking through the store or mall and he is constantly telling me to slow down. YESTERDAY, I RAN. I know! It was a clumsy run, but I freaking ran. My goal for 09, to actually run a mile.

glad you found us all
this is a great board and we all support each other. im also 2.5 years out from surgery and i know what you mean about going up and down those 5 pounds. but to be honest, so does everyone in the world at large. its not letting those 5 pounds become 10 and more that is the constant challenge for wls patients.
but if you want a kick in the butt here goes KICK
anyway, post often, always happy to see new people here
hugs, be safe and well, jacki
Please post often so we can get to know you. Pull up a comfy chair with your favorite cuppa and join us for chats. We always love having those!
