What's NEW with YOU on this MONDAY morning?

Good morning all.  I haven't started this in a few days, so I figured I would give it a shot here.

It has been a wonderful weekend.  I have been to the gym seven of the last eight days.  This was only because my work schedule allowed for it.  But I am going to try to go three days a week starting this week.

In the last 3 days, I have done 27 miles on the recumbent bike.  10 of them were yesterday.

I go in the hot tub after that (need to take care of the old joints and muscles).  Then into the sauna.  Then home.

Hope everyone has a great week.  Remember 4 more days 'til the weekend.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

morning! not a good day here yesterday-was going along fine and --poof! a huge disagreement that could be the breaking point--we'll see.

(eileen...not sure about the move anymore-maybe to an apt near my work -i'm grateful that at least i have that job...all is so upintheair and i hate it)

work today...slept an extra half hour so not much time to read the boards....

hugs and prayers to all...hoping to see positives about brenda real soon.....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Margo,

You are soooooooo far from your breaking point.......your disagreements with Michael are part of both your personas.  You are both volatile.

I don't have time to read either.  Am walking out the door.

Have a good day.

Monday, Monday.....

Good morning, George, and everyone.  Hooray for you getting all that exercise in this last week!  The hot tub sounds like the perfect reward, too.

Up early to go into work.  Ugh.  Everyone will be back at work after all the holiday leave.  With the construction going on, parking will be interesting.

Quiet day yesterday.  Went to gas the car and then to Red Lobster for lunch with hubby.  They were advertising a grilled shrimp salad that looked interesting.  It wasn't.  It was okay but something easily made at home.  Stopped by Office Depot for a few supplies and walked down the computer isle just looking.  So many new computers and I'll have to research this alot.  I like having a lap top in the condo becaue our condo is so small.  Mine is 4 years old.......

Crocheted the afternoon away.  Enjoyed "Desperate Housewives" last night and that's about it for me.  Weekend is all gone.  Continued prayers, hugs, and good thoughts for each and every one,  needed or not!  Make the most out of Monday that you can.

Good morning ~

George - that's a whole bunch of miles. Good job.
It was a 'never leave the house' weekend. We puttered, read, napped, watched some TV, plain old relaxation. Today is back to work and the usual routine. Darn, I have loved lounging in my jammies.

We are keeping a close eye on Joey. I plan to stop in and chat with the Vet this morning. He doesn't appear to be in pain but he is skin and bones. Quite the change from a 22 pounder. It may be close to the end.

Kisses

Carla,

You have been on my mind today. This has been a stressful day, with concerns for many of my loved ones.

Guess we need to get some 'catchers mitts' to catch those curve balls.

Big hugs

Annette, I just wanted to let you know that I am keeping you and Joey in prayers. We all do know that we will meet again at Rainbow Bridge but it is just not having them in our daily lives. It is hard but I know from experience (as I am sure you do too) that they look to us to take care of them to the very end.

I am sending to you gentle hugs and lots of love. Take care and know that you are loved especially in this difficult time of decisions.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Thank you Brenda -

We have one week to make a decision. He's not in pain, so this can wait a bit longer.

Hugs back at you

Sorry to hear about Joey. I know it's hard to let go. There's a great song, called "Goodbye My Friend." It's written by Karla Bonoff but Linda Ronstadt does a good version, too. Bonoff actually wrote it about her cat. When Cinnamon was put to sleep (in my house, with him in my arms), I played the song. It still has lots of meaning for me. If you can find a copy of it, listen to the words and you can see how it's written about a cat.
