Have a happy and blessed day today.
Hi, George!
I am keeping up, enjoyed reading about the disciples call, but wasn't too excited about all of Noah's sons' families! I told my Youth class that I have started reading this to read the Bible in a year. Today I did it before I got on the Board, and am going to make that a priority.
Thanks again!
Jeane

Hi George My name is Patricia and I am from Uniontown PA and as a Christian I feel its vital to my life to read the scriptures. My husband is a pastor of a small church here and he did a phenomominal job this morning on Ephesians 5: 25-27 about Christ's love to the church... I wil catch up on the reading you have posted. I love the lst 3 chapters of Genesis and to know we are created by an awesome God....I hope your sunday was a day of blessings.... Patricia
Actually, there is two maybe three creation stories in the book of Genesis. Did he make mistake and start over? Or, did the writer of the myth get confused. Did you know that the creation myth predates the Bible and can be traced back to Gilgamesh? Or, if you must know, the Popuvue predates the Bible and has a great one too. Moses, some think, was not even a Jew but an Egyptain who wanted to have only one religion, so he took the Egyptain myths and put the ones he liked, the circumcision, ect. and brought them over to the Hebrews and helped them leave Egypt. He wrote the first departure literature. For your information, the Bible isn't as old as most ancient texts and most of the Bible has been "borrowed" from other texts. Cheer up, though, it's not the end of the world.
