Does anyone sleet? !!
Its amazing what "sleet deprivation" does to your ability to think. Not to mention not proof reading. Maybe it was meant to be. Might have gotten more attention that way. I least I got no advice on how to sleet.
I think I have RLS to a minor degree. I don't jerk just feel very uncomfortable. My DH jerks. I have been kicked on numerous occasion and then blamed for waking him up. He thinks I poked him. Don't ya love it. If I sit in the tub awhile it helps. I have fallen asleep many a time in the bath. Kind of scares me. My dh would not know if I was in there forever once he falls asleep. It's a big tub I could drown in that thing. Then I wouldn't have anymore sleep problems.
I let everyone know how the hynosis goes.

Hi Linday,
I have had expereince with hypnosis and so has my DS. I found it to be highly effective, using it for weight loss over 30 years ago. It was the first time I lost 100 lbs., but marriage, getting pregnant and quitting cigarettes brought the weight back on. I do believe strongly in it and have seen many people helped by it.
As far as MY sleeping problems, I take a generic Restoril every night in order to sleep well. I have to get up to potty once during the night, but with the meds, at least I can get back to sleep.
I took Ambien for awhile and had TERRIBLE and embarassing side effects that I wouldn't even tell my OFF sisters about. I think that stuff should be banned!
Anyway, one thing my sleep doc suggested that might help is to turn your clock away from you so you can't see what time it is when you do wake during the night. Seeing what time it is gets your mind working on the "gosh, I have to get up in _____hours, or gee, I've only been asleep for _____ hours". It gets your mind worked up and it's nearly impossible to shut it off.
Good luck with the hypnosis. If you set your mind to think it will work for you, it will. That's the secret to hypnosis success!

I hope the hypnosis works for me. In addition to not sleeping I find I get up and graze. I have put on about 8 lbs instead of losing the last 30 I want to lose. I think sleeping through the night will help. I don't feel stressed but I must be. When I ocassionally get a massage they tell me I am all knotted up. I don't feeel anxious or crazed, I guess my body is taking the hit instead of my mind. Who knows maybe the hypnosis will help me lose the last 30 pounds as well
I've always had problems sleeping. I must say in the last 2 months since my surgery I am sleeping. I still wake up once during the night but I do sleep. I use to take AMBIEN. I would not advise that for anyone. I would wake up, got to the kitchen and eat. After a weight gain of 25 lbs
and food missing, my husband started watching me. I didnt know I was doing it. I woke up with icecream melted in the bed. . I could have chocked to death in my sleep. I never believed I was eating during the night and I was. That is freightning.
Hopefully those days are truely gone. I am finally sleeping.
