RLS anyone
Fibro if often helped by maintaining vit D (the test is 25 d, hydroxy, not the 1,25) 70+. Lots of studies since 2007 on that, but I didn't keep much on it.
I automatically assume that anyone post-op has the leg/foot cramps. Part of it is being chronically dehydrated, part being not enough capacity to eat everything on that list and part being that among ND's, we are all chronically mag deficient.

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.
Which kinda of mag is it? Mag oxide is no good at all for cramping. Makes you poop, all right, but never enters the blood stream. Mag citrate is the most easily available of the ones listed. BTW, both are cheap, even at grocery store prices.
For details on mag, ask an ND. My MD (PCP) is still suspicious of how/why mag oxide fixed 11 yrs of chronic constipation (no rx would fix it!), and nothing "medical" did. "Have to be careful with that natural stuff.....", he says. WHICH is why I see both an ND and an MD.
You can't OD on mag. I added over 2000mg and my blood levels never budged from "fine". I was told it doesn't show in your blood, but I had to see it to believe it.
