Morning to you sweet girl! I am so glad that you have had a good time with Olivia. Those great times will bring many good memories to you.

I went to dinner with Bill and had a stuffed chopped steak......oh wow was that ever good. It is was a chopped steak stuffed with onions, mushrooms and green peppers along with cheese. Just a bit of heaven right next to the roasted potatoes that I ordered. They were just plain potatoes roasted with a bit of lemon and olive oil. Oh boy! I brought more than half of the meat home and 3/4's of the potatoes too. I always tell Bill I am a cheap date now since I get at least 2 meals from one and most of the time it is 3! Can't get better than that. I truly enjoy the food that nourishes my body now. I just ate far to fast to really taste and savor it before. Now I am truly a food aficionado.

I have not been to sleep yet. I just can't get to sleep. I have tired. So I have been up since yesterday morning. Oh well, I will meet myself getting up this morning.

Today is my sister's 62nd birthday and so Bill and I are taking her out to lunch late this afternoon. Bill has to be home to get to work so that is why it is a early lunch.

B: sf oatmeal
S: fruit
L: out but it will be alright
S: probably none today
D: leftovers from dinner on Thursday
S: who knows........not me!

I will mosey along now. I am planning on getting to bed sometime soon. I am not good looking in the morning so I really don't want to meet myself getting up!

I am sending love and hugs to you and special prayers are going up for you and yours. Remember to keep a smile on that pretty face of yours!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Good morning Linda -

The first day of this new year was spent with my favorite people: Tom, Mary, Matthew and Melanie. Mary's husband is working a 10 day stretch. The life of an ER doctor is hectic.

I ran out of Kashi.  and was too lazy to drive into town for 1 item. Shucks ... breakfast isn't the same.

B - cottage cheese, berries and NO KASHI !!!
L - out to lunch with Angela maybe shrimp ****tail
D - Haven't a clue, maybe I'll make some chili

Tom has been making rice in his new rice cooker almost every day. It looks so fluffy and pretty but I can't eat it. I used to love rice, now it feels like lead. That's okay, he eats enough for both of us.

Kisses

Linda,

I took Georgie to visit my mom yesterday.  It was not entirely successful.  Mom has a roommate now (a woman about my age) and Georgie was distracted by her, her constant stream of visitors, and all the fast food they brought with them.  Mom didn't understand why he wouldn't sit with her, and she was worried (again) about the secret messages written on the ceiling (??).  I'm thinking of asking if I can put a scenic poster of some type on the ceiling above her bed so she has something pleasant to focus on.

B: oatmeal w/ skim milk & banana
S: iced skinny latte
L: beef brisket, roasted carrots w/ rosemary
S: protein bar
D: tofu in peanut sauce, ginger-soy turnips
S: SF pudding
