(I like peaches and also fruit ****tail)

Celery with peanut butter or light crm cheese.

(Wonder if they would thaw by lunch time??)

fresh snow pea pods, broccolli, carrotts, and peppers

protein bars are as individual as protein shakes-
i like the payday pro bars-candy turned me onto them!
ya have to watch the sugars --and often the calorie count is high for the amt of protein....

then there is the bit about chocolate or not and  a lot of them taste like cardboard... or too sweet...

good luck!

yur makin me hungry!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Looks good Marc. I had the luxury of a full sized frig at my job so I could keep a whole bag of the frozen shrimp there and take out what I wanted about 1/2 hr before lunch. I would take out the desired number of shriimp and put them in a bowl with cold water. The shrimp would thaw fine in that 1/2 hour. I also kept a bottle of good ****tail sauce in the frig.
Don't know if you have a Wendy's nearby, but their chilli is so good.

The Payday bars are very good but higher in calories & sugar but still not too bad.  The pure protein bars are good and I think they taste better if they are refridgerated (I only like the choc/peanut butter or the all choc ones).

Make a bunch of tuna, chicken or egg salad and eat it on lettuce leaves or celery or by itself.

I like browning italian sausage links then top with cooked peppers, onions, can of tomatoes, garlic, etc. then melt provolone cheese on top.

I've seen George post some good crock pot receipes but I can't remember them.

I guess the main thing is "be prepared".  I go to the office tomorrow and am going to be "armed" with cheese sticks!

Marc, I agree with Betsy. Try the South Beach Cereal bars.  They have 10 grms of protein, 6 gms of sugar and are 140 calories.  Also, if you have a Costco near you get yourself some turkey jerky.  Good in a pinch and needs no refrigeration.

One more thing for you, Marc, is if you like cheese try the string cheese. It is good and you can make on last for you whole break just by pulling the strings apart. A piece of string cheese is good for 8 grams of protein. Not bad for a break.

Remember to eat slowly and chew really good too. That is going to help you not only feel fuller faster but it is better for your pouchy~you don't want a grouchy pouchy at work!
