Monica,

Prayer and good wishes on your sobriety, you are to be commended for your honesty and willingness to change what you can.  I have been living sober for over 21 years now and the only way to do it, is one day at a time.

Best wishes for your renewed commitment to enjoying the gifts your post-WLS life has given you.

Hugs, Laureen

Transfer additions are easy to fall into. We must be aware of this at all times. Thanks for the reminder!!

You are so brave, and so strong to share those deep trials and challenges you are facing.  Congratulations and prayers and blessings on their way to you.  Similar to the difficulities with weight loss, you only need take it a day or an hour at a time, but our prayers and our thoughts are coming your way.   Always know  that you are cared about.

Love ya, Val

Monica, since this is my first day on the OFF board, I was going back in time to read some posts and saw yours.  It had to have been a very hard message to write and it took so much courage for you to do it.   I know we all have stories of someone we've known who has a problem but won't admit it and that is the first step to healing.  I know it's more than 21 days for you now and I'm rooting for you every step of the way ... 2009 WILL be a good year for you!

Monica, I applaud your courage and honesty.  Girlfriend, that took a lit of guts.  You are always in my prayers.
