It's SATURDAY!!! What's going on in your corner of the world?

Good morning all.  I am dragging today.  So tired. But I will get through it.

Mary did some shopping yesterday at the "big" sales.  No problem at all.  Old Navy was a breeze.  She picked up a couple of shirts for me.  Then it was Michaels.  Mary says there were more employees than customers when she got there.  She bought all the clear ornaments she could find.  She is going to start making ornaments for next year.  She will make a transparency to go inside each bulb.

Worked part time job yesterday in the afternoon, then came here.  When I am done here (6AM), I go back to the part time job for a few hours.

THEN SLEEP!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George ~ How do you get through your days without sleep?

My sister called to tell me about little Stella's Christmas. On Christmas Eve, Stella sadly insisted that Santa would never find her because she had moved. MaryAnn showed her the chair and plate of cookies waiting for Santa and did her best to calm the fears.

Christmas morning Stella was in awe of the mounds of presents and opened each one slowly. She didn't toss them aside and move on to the next, but treasured each one and played for a while before moving on.

MaryAnn asked how I managed to select such a perfect assortment. That was easy ... I chose the toys Melanie enjoys. There is only 5 months difference in age.

Right now Santa gets all the credit. But I have the satisfaction of knowing that Stella will always have this memory of a good Christmas. SMILE!!!

Kisses

Oh Annette, this really touched my heart. How lucky your family is to have you and your kind heart. Little Stella is one lucky little girl!

We're due for some really nasty weather today, so I for one, am laying low. Think I'll just take down the Christmas stuff and putter around. There is always so much to do. I had 5 days off and kind of feel the pressure to get so much done. We will be so busy producing more Saint Bella and getting ready for the shipment to the Miss America pageant that I feel I really need to crack down today. Maybe the wheather being bad will be a good thing for us. I say us....Gary WILL be included....he just doesnt' know it yet. Bless his heart, he's still asleep....little does he know....LOL

I went back and checked my weight log on Fitday.com and I weigh the same today as I did on Nov 20, 124.4, so that's two years where I haven't gained over the holidays. What a blessing! Quite the unusual feeling, really.

I bought my first pair of boots yesterday. My legs were always too big to fit into them before. Not only do they feel great, I got them on sale for $92 off the regular price.

Okay, I feel a list is in order for today, so I'm off.  Hope you all have a wonderful day. Stay warm, dry and safe

Hugs

Susan

Annette,

Just have to tell you this is my favorite Christmas story this season.  The joy of making Stella's Christmas a happy one is the best gift of all.  You did such a good thing!

What a wonderful thing you have done for Stella!  And isn't this really the spirit of Christmas - bringing joy to a little girl whose life has been turned upside down?
I think that you've earned your wings.

Is it Saturday already??

Christmas day we had a wonderful big dinner.  Our oldest NC grandson invited his girl, and she is a peach.  After everyone left, I took down all my Christmas decorations.  I was just TIRED of them!

Yesterday, my DIL and I did the sales!!!!  Then everyone was here for left-overs.  Including a couple of the grandson's friends.  Then all the boys put all the Christmas decorations up in the attic.  Then they cleaned up all the tables, ice chests, chairs, fryer, HUGE tall heater, awning and other things out of the dining room and back yard that we used for the Christmas party and Christmas day.  Loaded them in the truck and took them home.

Our son replaced the seal under the toilet in the master bath.  It was well past time!

Today is relax and do nothing!  I'm sure I'll be seeing people to eat and probably play some Wii, at some point today.

My weight is EXACTLY where it was a week before Thanksgiving, so I am a VERY happy camper!

Good morning everyone. From what I've been reading everyone had a good Christmas. We did too. We went to my Sisters for Christmas. It was a beautiful day. It was so warm I wore a short sleeve shirt. It did get cool when the sun started to go down.

Only bad thing, I did eat something that didn't set well and got sick. My sister that hasn't had WLS made a strawberry dish and it had "Real" sugar. She usually uses splenda. That's what got me. I know now to ask before I sample anything. She told me she was sorry that she forgot to tell me. I only had a couple spoonsfull but it came right back up in about 15 mins. I had to sit quietly for about 30 mins. That's hard for me since I love to talk.

But over all we had a good time. Only thing I didn't get many pictures since I was hovering around the bathroom. My Sis is gonna send me all her pictures, Yeah. I think I made about 3 pics.

Today will be a lazy day. I won't be doing to much. It's rainy out today. Run a few errands and back to do some house work.
Everyone have a nice day.                  Teresa M.
