Aloha Karen......I can't believe you still have two spots that aren't completely healed. That blows my mind.

I found three body shapers that are actually quite comfortable but I am glad that it's not the hottest part of the year. They actually make me feel snug and comforted that all is healing as it should. I still don't know what a Spanx is, butwhat I wear is from above the waist and down my thighs about halfway, and it keeps those nice and firm, too. Pants fit much better with this on.

I know you have snow. My Anacortes friend couldn't make it to Portland for Christmas with her son, my son's best friend and all their babies!!
She was so bummed. My son and his family rented a condo on the river in Portland and I think have been a bit disappointed that it has either snowed or rained the whole time since they hit Oregon on their way up from Santa Cruz. But they saw lots of family and friends, so that was the high point.

So good to see you....I hope you are having a good holiday, and let's hope for the best new year ever!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

MK, I've always been a "picker." Can't leave peeling sunburn skin alone or scabs. My skin has been so dry that my left arm looks like I'm a junkie. I've scratched and picked until I have 5 sores on my arm. I don't leave them alone. That is the problem with the two spots on my hips. They are healed right to the surface but when they just get a good scab on them off they come. I think I need to get some more of the waterproof nuderm that I used in Hawaii. I will stay on through showers. I just need to do it. I worry about getting a secondary infection. My own fault but I've always had such a hard time saying no to myself about food, about itching, about picking. I also tend to scar and those little areas of raised skin are more reason to pick.  Probably TMI! Our roads are clear this am with Chinook winds blowing gently and about 45 degrees. I know the west side is worried about flooding with the snow and now the rain on top of it. We have blue skies.
