Good morning you OFFers!!!!

Hope you all have a great day.  Remember the reason for the season.  Cherish the time you get to spend with loved ones.

Last night we went to Christmas Eve service with my daughter and her family, about 45 minutes from our house.  It was at 4PM at their church.  We finished up and made it to our church in time to attend the service with Eddie (grandson from son).

It was so unique to have 2 completely different services.  Both with the same message.

Mary got me some jeans and pajamas for Christmas, among other things.  The main gift she got from me is the printer for the computer that will print on 12x12 paper.

Secret Santa at work got me a Rangers golf shirt.

Today I will sleep in.  If I wake up early enough, Mary and I will go see Marley and Me at the movies.

Share your day with us.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good Morning, All

I'm up and headed for work.  My Christmas will be Saturday with my kids and grandson.  That works for me.  I usually work on Christmas Day.  I have for years.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Day.  With families or without.  I've learned over the years that it is what you make of it.

Everyone have a wonderful day.

Good morning George, and a very Merry Christmas to everyone!!

I hope this day brings all the joys of the season to each and everyone of you. I may not be here as much as I used to be, but you are all in my heart every day.

We have a quiet day planned, no huge meal, not flocks of family, just the four of us. Tess' mom may join us, but that remains to be seen. She checked herself out of rehab on Tuesday and has caused so much pain for her two daughters, but I will be the gracious hostess if she comes. After all, it is Christmas and she needs to be with family.

Our gift to the nieces and nephew in San Diego never arrived. Of course, the one time I didn't get delivery confirmation or insurance (I was in such a hurry when I went to the PO) the package gets lost. All I can hope for is that it shows up in the next few days. If not, I'll have to pony up another $70 to replace the gift. Drat!

I've never, ever, in my entire life been to after Christmas sales, but this might be the year. I have a 9:00 nail appointment in Little Rock so I might leave extra early and see what I can do about spending some of my "green" gifts.

Well, off to bake the apple pie and blackberry cobbler. I so hope you all have a wonderful day today. If we don't see you, hope it's because you're having fun with family. If you're traveling, please be safe!!!

Love and hugs to you all

Susan

Merry Christmas George and all you OFFers,
As we celebrate this day, we remember that the reason for the celebration is the birth of the Christ Child, Jesus.  May he always be in your heart....whatever religion you may chose, I pray for His blessings for each and everyone of my friends on this board.

Time to get the cinnamon rolls for my neighbor into the oven....the house will smell wonderful.  Second batch of cinnamon rolls are in the refrigerator for Friday morning and to go to my good neighbor across the street...they will take them with them to their DD in Detroit.

Everything is covered in ice and it's extremely dangerous underfoot here.  Snow flakes in the air this morning and a bone chilling 14 degrees.

Church was beautiful last evening and many many people there (a lot we only see twice a year)...the bell choir did a fine job.  I managed to get in and out of the church w/o falling down (Had an escort afterwards to my van -- that was really nice!)

We had sunshine most of the day here, it certainly lifted one's spirits.  Had calls from step-grand daughters, step son, and sister... Took a drive around town after lunch -- most everything was closed except for the chinese buffet restaurant which was packed, and Walgreens which was also very busy.  I went to the cemetery and stopped to say Merry Christmas at my hubby's grave.

Have a blessed day all.

Love and hugs,
Pat R.
