JUST CAME ACROSS...

the clothes i wore the day i had my WLS...OMG they are huge!!! i will get a picture of me in them somehow soon and post it on my profile...and these pants fit me so tight to!!! can't wait to show them to rick when he gets home tonight!!!! i am sure his mouth will drop to the floor!!! LOL

got all my clothes put away in the dresser rick gave me for christmas...we now have a walk in closet again!!! no more living out of a suitcase!!!! i am one very happy woman right now!!!

well time to cleanoff the car and pick my sweetie up at work. he will be happy that i am happy with my new dresser full of clothes!!! woohooo (doesn't take much does it??? lol)

You sound so happy as you put away your clothes in your new dresser. It is wonderful hearing you happy like this.......gave my day a little shot in the arm!

ALOHA!!!!! you mean you didn't save one outfit you used to wear before WLS??? OMG you should have karen!! its so much fun to see how they fit now!!! infact i just put them on and modeled them for rick...he is rolling with laughter!!! i told him its not funny because it what i wore the day i had my WLS!! he said really?? i said yes!! he said WOW!!!! so off they came and back into the drawer...i will pack them to take with us to michigan this weekend and show my mom...she will faint...lol

oh yeah i am so happy i now have a dresser of my own here!! now i really belong!!!! LOL

i can feel the hug from you!!! please send some heat now??? lol

Judy, that must have been a true sight to the eyes~seeing you in those clothes. I forgot to save the largest size outfit that I wore before surgery, but I did save one dress that was my favorite from before. Of course I still have my wedding dress from Bill's and my wedding. I can only imagine what I would look like in that one. And that wasn't at my largest either. Oh what a bit of time and a lot of hard work will do for us!

I know what you mean!  I also have a couple of items from way back when.  Whenever I feel like I'm not doing well - like I'm failing, I take out something I wore pre-wls.  It sure makes a difference.  One particular outfit was a skirt and blazer.  The skirt now slips way down my hips, and the blazer looks like I'm a kid playing dressup in my mommy's clothes!

hi deb!! yeah i see what you mean...its amazing how those clothes fit us now after we lost all this weight....i will NEVER get rid of this outfit!!! have to have that reminder to never go back ya know....

I sure got a chuckle from reading about this Judy!  How wonderful that you saved those clothes! 

I also saved my "surgery day" outfit.  I didn't touch them until I hit goal.  The first time I held the jeans up to me, I CRIED.  Lots of emotions, like sadness that I ever got that big and happiness that they just fall off me now.  I'm NEVER getting rid of them!
